94. Another Day In The Cage

By the time the sun was still up in the sky indicating that it was still daytime. He was still lying down on the bed on the leaves and from his senses he could tell that his body was still intact which was good news to him. His gaze went up to the single long steel chain that connected the cage to the huge tree branch. During the heat of the battle he had failed to stop and notice what kind of tree it was.

It was much more massive than anything he had ever seen before, it was like a smaller version of a castle set up in a forest.

Eryndor could feel something moving next to him, his senses kicked in and he rolled away and raised his arms in an attack stance. His eyes fell on the beautiful young woman who had saved him earlier. She was currently asleep perhaps from exhaustion from looking over him for so long and for that Eryndor was grateful and indebted to her.
