Feeding Each Other? (edited)

After a few long hours of walking, they finally stumbled upon the familiar corner of a wall they'd grown to know all too well. 

Walking from behind it, they stared at the violet tree whose body was still curved in an eclipse and had leaves that always seemed to be brimming and shining with light.

It was a comforting but also an ominous sight.

Lillian gave a loud sigh of relief, happy to no longer have to stumble through the dark like a fearful child. She stared up at the mysterious hole in the ceiling and furrowed her brows.

The waterfall of light was dimmer and much more paler in colour.

"I guess it's night out there, huh?" Lillian outwardly thought, beginning her ascent up the curved hill.

After reaching the top, she turned her eyes towards Marionette to see her pressing her palm against the side of the tree with a focused expression.
