"How about we just calm down?" She glanced between the two before ending up at Marionette. "I'm sure you could've found some other way than using your foot."

Marionette shrugged before turning to the side, "Perhaps... But I chose the most likely method to keep you safe."

While Lillian gave her a deadpan expression, Millis's face was twitching. She gave a crooked smile before yelling:

"Ya make it sound like I was going to hurt her!" She then hugged Lillian's side. "How could I do that to such a pretty gal?!"

"Ehe..." Lillian scratched her cheek—a bit embarrassed by Millis's compliment.

Marionette couldn't help but narrow her eyes and click her tongue at Millis's closeness with Lillian.

"Who knows... but your presence irritates me greatly." Saying this, she pulled against Lillian's other arm, causing her to be in the centre of a tug-of-war.
