A Little Fun?

Once Lillian had returned back to the living room, she had found that her mother had already disappeared. Asking Marionette about it, she discovered that it was because she had decided to rest for the day.

"Oh, is that so...? Kinda wanted to talk with her a little more, but that's alright." She fell back onto the couch, leaning her shoulder against the Assassin whilst sighing.

She closed her eyes for a brief moment but soon opened them once she felt movement over her legs.

Assuming that the Assassin was back to caressing her legs, she opened her eyes to see.

In the end, she was wrong.

Marionette, gripping the edge of a thin blanket, placed it over the white-haired girl's lap, keeping them warm. She then moved back, adjusting her posture, before leaning against Lillian as well.

The TV inside the living room was off. And so was the lights.
