Stephen's POV
Japan, China, India… I gotta pick carefully.
Anything I do in America is like painting a giant target on my back. SHIELD, the government, nosy superheroes it's basically a surveillance state for people like me. I need a different playground. A big one.
Not that I'm scared or anything. Just being smart. Getting my hands on high-tech gear legally here? A total pain.
So, I need a front. A legit business. Something massive, raking in money and resources while keeping the surface squeaky clean.
And while that's going on, well, let's just say I'll be a very productive member of the underground economy too.
Madripoor? Too cliché. Every fanfic protagonist sets up shop there. I need something different.
Whatever. I'll think about it later. Right now, I've got more important things to focus on.
Spin time.
Yesterday marked my one-month anniversary of surviving in Marvel. Which means:
Gacha points: 114
No point waiting till the end of the month. Let's roll.
World Unlocked: Demon Slayer
Karen Fields
Three-section staff
Random World x4
Susan Storm (Earth-616)
Fantasy rifle
Gender Bender card x2
Harry Potter glasses
World Unlocked: Slugterra
Karen von Rosewald
See? This is why I believe in luck.
Six new worlds unlocked. Nothing crazy high-tier, but hey, something's better than nothing.
Especially Demon Slayer. If I can grab a demon template and find the Blue Spider Lily flowers, then yeah, say no more. Instant regeneration, enhanced physical abilities, and possibly even Muzan's body manipulation.
Slugterra? Man, that was my childhood. Right up there with Ben 10, Beyblade, and Pokémon. I doubt many people even remember it anymore.
Three character cards, two templates, and one summon.
Karen von Rosewald? The maid from Tokyo Ghoul, working for Shuu.
I could assimilate her, but I already have Eto. No point doubling down unless I want to aim for a Kakuja form. Meh. Better to summon her instead.
Now, if I had teleportation, Voyd would be an instant summon. Her Dimensional Teleportation is way too OP to pass up when I don't have any movement abilities yet.
But the real jackpot?
Invisible Woman.
Oh. Hell. Yes.
Finally, something truly busted.
People underestimate Susan Storm because, well, Invisible Woman doesn't sound as flashy as, say, God of Thunder or Sorcerer Supreme. But the ones who really know Marvel? They know she's dangerous.
Her powers aren't just about turning invisible. That's baby-tier. The real meat?
Force fields.
Not just shields, but pure, uncut telekinetic energy manipulation.
She can create barriers strong enough to stop psychic powers like telepathy or telekinesis if she seals them. She can make razor-sharp constructs. She can generate kinetic force inside someone's body.
Yeah, she can explode people from the inside.
Tell me that's not OP.
Alright, let's see what else I got.
Rifle used by Wesley Gibson's dad. Not bad. That guy was an assassin with a gun that could curve bullets. Could be useful.
Three-section staff from Sirius the Jaeger. Fancy stick. Might come in handy.
Harry Potter glasses? Bruh. Why do wizards even need glasses? You're telling me they can regrow bones overnight but can't fix eyesight? Either they're lazy, or there's some secret wizard eyewear mafia making sure no one asks too many questions.
Gender Bender card? Yeah, exactly what it sounds like. Flips someone's gender. But get this if I use it on a summon, there's a chance it'll pull their alternate-gender version from some other universe. That means somewhere out there, there's a female Kaneki Ken or a male Helen Parr, and I could actually summon them.
Not that I'm interested (only on latter part)
Moving on to the four new worlds.
First up, Hero Killer. The manhwa. The one with the female protagonist.
So, another superpowered world added to the list.
Good. More abilities to snatch. More chaos to cause.
Next up, Douluo Dalu. Also known as Soul Land.
Not gonna lie, I used to like Tang San. Thought he was cool. Then I read fanfics.
And, wow.
Dude's got issues.
Like father, like son.
Like teacher, like student.
And let's not forget Dai Mu Bai.
Or that 100,000-year-old rabbit pretending to be a lovestruck teen.
I don't even doubt how they all get along. They're all cut from the same cloth.
Though, gotta admit the templates would be solid.
Especially if it's the Sea God or Shura God.
Can't deny that kind of power.
Third one, Dororo.
Now that's interesting.
A historical world, but with demons, swords, and a revenge-driven protagonist who was literally born missing body parts. Dude lost everything before he even got a chance to live.
I could increase fan values with it.
Three new worlds, all with supernatural or OP elements.
And I still have one more world left to unlock.
Here's hoping it's another big one.
