A Range Rover SUV drove into the school compound. A guy stepped out, clinging onto his bag. His black damp hair poured on his face, giving him a hot look.

*Who's he?*

*He looks like a model*

*Ooph! My dream guy*

*He's a new student*

*I wonder if he'd be a senior*

*His hair looks soft*

*His walking steps are killers*

"Can I get a selfie" A girl requested, moving close to him.

"Sure!" He said and posed cutely in front of the camera.

*He's definitely my dream guy!*

The guy moved into the school, his hands, tucked into his pockets.

Shortly, two cars drove in. The school's Divas, Ava and Danielle got down.

*Gosh! It's them*

Ava and Danielle smiled when they heard their crazy compliments and walked into the school.

A BMW drove in. Lily got down alone, she wasn't with Lucas, they were yet to resolve their differences.

Lily blew kisses at the sophomore students (10th grade) and walked into the school.

The Homeroom teacher, Mr Jun walked in with the new guy trailing behind him. Mr Jun faced the class.

"Order!" Mr Jun snapped. The students composed themselves.

*Who's that guy?*

*He's so cute*

*He's so fuckin hot!*

"Good morning students" Mr Jun greeted.

"Good morning, Mr Jun" The students echoed.

"We have a new student joining us today, introduce yourself to them" Mr Jun said.

"My name is Liam Jung. I hope for a cooperative section with y'all" Liam said with a slight bow.

Surprisingly, the students applaud.

*Lucas and Reed's got a competition*

"He's got a cute smile" Danielle said, biting her lips seductively.

"You can seat over there" Mr Jun said, referring to Liam.

Mr Jun left afterwards. Liam moved to the seat, it was beside Danielle. He sat down, Danielle faced him, wearing a cute smile.

"Hi Liam" Danielle waved cutely.

"Oh! Hi, and you are?" Liam inquired.

"I'm Danielle Kim. One of the school's Divas" Danielle said.

"It's nice to meet you, Dani" Liam said with a smile.

Shortly, the foreign language teacher, Miss Eun entered the class.

"Settle down students!" Miss Eun said.

The lessons began, the students brought out their notepads and began taking notes.

➳ 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀.

"And this is the cafeteria, we come here for lunch" Danielle said. Liam nodded, looking around.

Danielle was giving him a tour of the school and they were currently in the cafeteria.

'BRNNG!'

The bell for break time rung audibly around the hallways.

"Oh! It's time for lunch. C'mon, let's pick a tray for lunch" Danielle directed and picked up a tray, Liam followed suit.

Lily, Eva and Sofie walked in. They looked around for an empty seat and finally found one. They moved towards the food counter but Sofie paused in her tracks.

"Is that who I think it is?" Lily asked.

"My eyes are deceiving me" Eva said, cleaning her eyes with the tips of her fingers.

"It can't possibly be, It's..." Lily was still saying.

"It's Liam! He's here!" Sofie gasped and ran towards him.

'STOMP! STOMP!' Her footsteps echoed audibly.

It felt like time slowed down. Sofie could feel her heart racing rapidly against her ribcage. Liam turned around and saw her running towards him.

His eyes widened in shock. Their hearts were racing in a perfect sync.

"Sofie?!" He mouthed when she got closer to him.

Sofie jumped on him, hugging him tightly. Her legs were wrapped around his torso and she leaned in on him, inhaling his scent.

Liam slowly reciprocated the hug. They weren't kids anymore, he could clearly feel her soft mounds pressed against his chest.

*WTF just happened?*

*Do they know each other from somewhere?*

*Gosh! They look like long lost couples*

*But Sofie's got a boyfriend, isn't this cheating?*

Tristan was glaring at Liam; the way he'd placed his head in the crook of her neck, got him boiling with jealousy.

'Who the fuck is he?' Tristan thought angrily.

"Calm down Bro" Ethan said with a grin.

"It's just a friendly hug!" Lucas pointed.

"What's friendly about the position they're in?" Tristan snapped.

"Whoa! Tris, you're really jealous. Don't you remember him?" Ethan asked, whilst chuckling.

"He's her best friend, Liam from middle school" Lucas stated, munching on some tteokbokki.

"I don't want him to be a threat to Sofie and I" Tristan said with softened eyes.

"And he won't be, relax" Ethan urged.

"I can't relax, I need to show Liam my territory so he won't cross em" Tristan said sternly and walked away.

"No! Tris, wait!" Lucas called out, running after Tristan, alongside Ethan.

Tristan walked up to Sofie and Liam. They had just parted from their heartwarming hug.

"Ahem!" Tristan cleared his throat, jolting them back from their world.

"Oh! Babe!" Sofie squealed and moved over to him.

Tristan pecked her lips in front of Liam, shocking him.

"Uhm! Liam, meet my boyfriend, Tristan. And Boo, meet my best friend, Liam" Sofie introduced.

"Oh! Hi, I'm Liam... The Best friend" Liam said with a smile.

"And I'm Tristan, The Boyfriend" Tristan said, glaring at him.

"C'mon, let's get our lunch!" Danielle said when she noticed the tensed air between Tristan and Liam. She took hold of Liam's hand and took him away.

"What was that all about?" Ethan asked, palming his eyes and shooking his head.

Lucas' gaze met Lily's but she was quick to look away. They've not talked for over a week and their friendship was greatly affected.

➳ 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒.

"I fucking kissed you that night at the party and yet you act like nothing happened?" Lucas questioned.

"It's not like the kiss meant anything... I know that it was a mistake" Eva said calmly.

Lucas trapped her on the wall, His gaze locked with hers.

"It wasn't a mistake! I enjoyed every bit of it" Lucas blurted as Eva gasped.

"What... You..." Eva stuttered. Her face flushed bright red.

"You're lying, I don't believe you" Eva said and tried getting away from him but he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Then I'll make you believe" Lucas said and pressed his lips on hers. He squeezed her soft mounds through her uniform top.

"Mmm!" She moaned against his lips.

His tongue slid into her mouth, tactfully exploring every corner of her mouth.

"Lucas!" She gasped.

Her vision became blurry, tears slid from the sides of her eyes.

"Eva!" Sofie called out.

"Eva!" Lily called out, whilst tapping her. Turns out that she was dreaming.

More tears flowed from Eva's eyes. Her friends had gotten really worried.

What could have possibly made her cry in her sleep?

"Lucas! Reed!" Eva mouthed and began gasping for air. one would think that it was an asthmatic attack.

*Oh my gosh!*

*Is she asthmatic?*

*What's wrong with her?*

*Get the school nurse!*

*Let's take her to the infirmary*

*WTF! Lift her from her seat*

The students panicked, roaming around and drawing attention to other classes. They finally took her to the infirmary.

➳ 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘.

Lucas ran into Eva's ward. He couldn't fathom why he got so worried about her.

"Who are you to the patient?" The school nurse, Mrs Lui asked.

"I'm her friend!" Lucas said calmly and the nurse nodded.

Lucas walked up to Eva. Her face and skin looked pale and almost white. Lucas sat down on the chair beside her bed.

Lily and Sofie had already gone home to pack some stuffs, since Eva would be transferred to a hospital.

"The Ambulance is here, ma'am" A nurse said to Mrs Lui.

"Okay! Let's move her to the hospital" Mrs Lui instructed. Lucas helped in reeling Eva out of her ward.

➳ 𝐒𝐄𝐎𝐔𝐋 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐖𝐇𝐀 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋- 6:51pm.

⁂ 𝐄𝐯𝐚'𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝...

Eva's eyes slowly fluttered open. Her eyes caught a glimpse of the ceiling; from the smell of the place, she could tell that she was in a hospital.

Eva blinked repeatedly adapting to the lighting of the room. she rolled over and her gaze landed on Lucas, who was sleeping. He rested his head on the side of her bed.

She looked down and noticed that he was holding her hand, squeezing it gently. A drip was connected to her other hand but she dared move it.

She placed her hand on his hair, slowly patting it. Her gaze, locked on his face. She took in his cute features and her gaze landed on his soft pink lips, which puckered up in his sleep.

"Cute" She found herself smiling.

Lucas' eyes gently fluttered open. His gaze landed on hers and she blushed hard.

"Are you okay?" Lucas asked with concern evident on his face.

"I'm fine!" Eva smiled.

"No! You're not" Lucas blurted.

Sofie and Eva ran into the ward. Mr and Mrs Choi came in too.

"Why didn't you tell us about your ailment?" Lily asked with teary eyes.

"What..." Eva stuttered.

"Mum, what are they talking about?" Eva asked, looking at her parents.

"Relax Hun! Hush Baby" Mrs Choi said, hugging Eva.

"Mom! What's wrong with me?" Eva asked in a daze. Her mom didn't respond.

"You were diagnosed of congestive heart failure" Sofie said sadly.

"What! Heart... failure?!" Eva stuttered in disbelief.

"Yeah! You've got heart failure" Lucas nodded affirmatively.

"Not again!" Mr Choi said, palming his face sadly.

"What do you mean? Did she experience something like this before?" Lily asked as Eva's Dad simply nodded.

"No! I... I..." Eva said breathlessly. She began gasping for air, her vision grew blurry and she passed out.

"Eva!" Those were the last words she heard.

➳ 𝐋𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍

⁂ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲...

"Lily! Focus" Reed beckoned

"I can't concentrate, not when Eva is still in the hospital" Lily said, whilst ruffling her hair.

"It's okay for you to be worried, but don't be worked up about it. Besides, you've got tests coming up tomorrow... You don't wanna fail do you?" Reed asked and she shook her head.

"No Reed!" Lily said cutely.

"Come close" Reed said and pulled her closer with the swivel chair she was sitting on.

Lily's gaze met his and she got lost staring at him.

"What- What are you doing?!" She asked in a daze.

"You'll get a hug if you finish solving those chemistry questions" Reed said with a smirk.

"What?!" Lily gasped. She really needed a hug to soothe her tensed nerves.

In the next minute, she was already solving the questions. Reed keenly watched her every move, he'd smile or pat her hair at some point.

In less than fifteen minutes, Lily finish up and dropped her pencil. she faced him wearing a cute smile.

"Reed...The hug!" Lily requested.

"I was just joking... I just wanted you to finish up and you did" Reed chuckled.

"You're a meanie, Hmph!" Lily pouted cutely.

Lily got up; she was about leaving the room when Reed held her hand. He pulled her backwards and she landed on his laps.

Reed made her straddle him, their faces were just inches away and their gazes locked.

"Don't you want the hug anymore? Or do you want something else?" Reed questioned as Lily shook her head.

She leaned closer, pressing her body against his and hugging him. Reed slowly wrapped his arms around her small waist, pulling her closer.

"Mmn!" A soft moan escape her lips.

"I really needed this" She whispered.

Reed inhaled her fresh scent, he leaned into the crook of her neck, his warm breath, fanning her neck and sending shivers down her spine.

"Reed! What are you... Ouch!" Lily moaned.

Her words were caught short when Reed kissed her neck, gently sucking and nibbling on it. He pulled away after a while, leaving a lip print behind.

"You..." Lily took in sharp breaths when he moved his lips to the other part of her neck.

His tongue lingered there as he tactfully nibbled on the soft skin of her slender neck.

"Reed!" She moaned.

"We shouldn't be doing this" Lily managed to say, pulling Reed back into reality.

"Oh! Sorry" Reed said, pulling away. They disengaged from that position.

'𝐖𝐓𝐅 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞, 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐭' Reed's mind screamed.

➳ 𝐋𝐄𝐎𝐍'𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌.

Luna and Leon were doing their assignments. At some point, their gazes met but they'd blush and look away.

"I asked a maid to bring the multiplication table for us" Leon said.

Shortly, a maid walked into the room with the multiplication table, she handed it over to Leon before leaving the room.

"Here! Let's confirm our answers" Leon said as Luna nodded.

"3×5 is what?" Luna asked.

"15, Did you get it right?" Leon asked.

"No!" Luna said, nervously taking her lips into her mouth.

"What did you write?" Leon inquired.

"14" Luna said sadly.

"It's almost 15, you tried" Leon commended.

"But I want to do better to impress you more" Luna whimpered.

"It's okay, you're the best for me, no matter what" Leon breathe.

He pecked her cheek unexpectedly, making her giggle.

"Leon, I'm hungry" Luna pouted.

"What would you like to eat?" Leon inquired.

"Strawberry cake and milkshakes" Luna said.

"Okay, I'll tell the maids right now, I'm coming" Leon said and walked out of his room.

Leon was still on the hallway, he decided to check on Lily and Reed. He slowly opened the door and peeked in, his gaze landed on Lily and Reed in an intimate hugging position.

Leon noticed the way Reed possessively wrapped his arms around Lily's waist. Leon grinned and silently closed the door before running off.

➳ 𝐋𝐔𝐗𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋- 7:16am

⁂ 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘.

As usual, a computer based test would be held. Students roamed around the hallways, locating their classes and settling down.

The test would start after 30 minutes, but the atmosphere in the Junior class was tensed. Thoughts of how the Class's President, Eva, was feeling filled the students' minds.

The Homeroom teacher, Miss Wong walked in. She noticed the students' gloomy faces and decided to cheer them up.

"Good morning students" Miss Wong greeted.

"Good morning Miss Wong" The students echoed.

"There's no need to worry so much about the Class's President, she's fine and recovering. And she'd be back to school in no time, so cheer up!" Miss Wong urged.

"Ma'am, I've a question" A student said, raising his hand.

"Yes, go on" Miss Wong said.

"Is Eva asthmatic?" He inquired.

"No! She's not" Miss Wong answered.

"Then what's wrong with her?" Another student asked.

"Alright Kids, there's no need to panic. You see, she has a condition called Congestive heart failure and it's in stage three. In this stage, She'd experience loss of breath" Miss Wong explained.

"Oh! That's very understandable" The students nodded in agreement.

"She's on medication currently and would return back to school soon, so try not to stress her and ease off some of her presidential duties" Miss Wong encouraged.

"Okay Ma'am" The students echoed wearing sweet smiles on their faces.

"Turn on your laptop and insert your correct details" Miss Wong instructed as the students typed away.

"Are you done?" Miss Wong asked, carefully checking their laptops.

"Yes Ma'am" The students responded.

"START!" She said.

The students clicked on 'Start CBT' and began answering the questions carefully.

Lily looked over to Eva's empty seat, she sighed and continued her work.

*I heard that Senior Lucas missed school today*

*Is he sick?*

*I don't know, but I think his absence from school has an important reason*

Lily bit her lips nervously. Could he have missed school because of her?

"Don't work yourself up, Lily. You'd still see him on Monday" Sofie said.

"It's not that... I don't even want to see him" Lily lied.

"Liar! You miss him, don't you?" Sofie asked.

"Yeah... But he needs trust me and tell me about his past" Lily whimpered.

"Just give him time" Sofie advised as Lily nodded.

"Hey Peach" Liam called out fondly. Peach was the nickname he gave her in middle school.

"Oh! Liam, or should I say, senior Liam" Sofie corrected.

"There's no need for formalities, besides we're best friends" Liam said, looking around.

"Why are you looking around like that? Are you searching for someone?" Sofie asked.

"I'm keeping my eyes open just in case your boyfriend shows up" Liam said as Lily and Sofie laughed.

"Why? Are you scared?" Lily asked, whilst chuckling.

"I was literally terrified when I met him... He glared at me and I felt like leaving my body" Liam whimpered as the girls continued laughing.

"Well, he ain't around here, so relax" Sofie smiled.

Just when Liam's shoulder was about to drop in relief, Tristan showed up.

"Hey Babe!" Tristan called out.

Sofie snuggled up closely to him. He wrapped his arms possessively around her small waist.

Liam's breath hitched; he watched the couple acted lovey dovey in front of him.

"I'll get going... See you around, Peach" Liam said, tucking in hands into his pockets and walking away.

"Peach?" Tristan asked with a questioning look.

"Yeah! That was the nickname he gave me in middle school" Sofie smiled.

"Oh!" Tristan nodded, glaring at Liam's retreating figure.

"Let's go and have lunch!" Lily said.

"Okay" Tristan said as they walked away.

Lily nervously opened the door, She walked in. She faced Reed; biting her lip softly.

"You sent for me, Senior Reed" Lily said, playing with her fingers.

"Yeah! How's your test?" Reed asked bluntly.

"It was good" Lily answered, avoiding his gaze.

"Look at me, Lily" Reed said and she looked at his legs.

"I meant my face, stop avoiding my gaze" Reed pointed out.

"I can't, I don't want you to end up..." Lily was still saying.

"End up doing what? Kissing you?" Reed interrupted as Lily gulped hard.

He moved closer to her, trapping her on the wall. This wasn't her imaginations, right?

"I'm sorry again for kissing your neck without your permission" Reed apologized, his gaze fell on the traces of hickeys on her neck.

"It's okay" Lily said, blinking repeatedly.

Reed leaned closer to her, tucking her hair behind her ear. She closed her eyes, expectantly waiting for his lips to meet hers.

But instead, Reed pulled away. He wanted her to yearn for more.

"C'mon, let's go and check our test results" Reed said, taking hold of her hand.

"Really?" Lily asked.

"Mn" He nodded affirmatively, patting her hair gently.

Lily blushed hard; his touch was electric. It sent shivers down her spine. Reed led her out of the class.

⁂ 𝐄𝐯𝐚'𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝...

The sound of beeping monitor, gentle whispers and occasional nurse calls filled the air.

The room was filled with get-well cards, bouquet of flowers and balloons from her classmates. The room had a touch of pale blue and white which accentuated the walls.

The room had a scent of disinfectant and fresh flowers, which complimented the blooming atmosphere.

Lucas flipped through the pages of a magazine. He was seated beside Eva's hospital bed. The soft light from the window highlighted his breathtaking features.

Eva, who was pretending to still be asleep, secretly watched him through slitted eyes.

Lucas took his gaze off the magazine's pages and noticed that Eva's closed eyes were shaking (blinking).

He leaned in, bringing his face closer to hers.

'Why is he coming closer to me? Does he want to kiss me?' Eva thought.

"I know you're awake, stop pretending" Lucas said with a smirk.

Instead, she tried rolling over, but he held her in place.

"If u stop pretending, I'll kiss you" He said.

Eva smiled cutely, slowly opening her eyes.

"Gotcha! I knew that you were pretending" Lucas grinned.

Instead of responding, she puckered her lips and he stared at her lips for a while before pressing his lips on hers.

A tender spark was ignited between them. Lucas's mouth parted, inviting Eva to deepen the kiss.

She hesitated for a moment, her pulse racing. Her lips opened, allowing Lucas's tongue to dance with hers.

The world around them melted away. The hospital room's beeping machines and whispers faded into the background.

Their kiss was a symphony of sensations: the gentle pressure, the soft caress of tongues, and the sweet taste of each other.

Lucas's hand cradled Eva's face, his fingers, tracing her jawline. Eva's hands wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer.

Time stood still as they lost themselves in the kiss. Passion and affection swirled together, forging an unbreakable connection.

"Baby Eva... WTF!" Sofie gasped with widened eyes.

Eva and Lucas slowly parted, drifting back into reality. They were surprised to see Sofie standing there, looking shocked.

"Yaa! (Hey!) Are you guys a couple now?" Sofie managed to ask.

Eva blushed, looking away.

"Not yet!" Lucas said, sitting down again.

Lily walked in, the atmosphere felt ethereal.

"Did something happen? What did I miss?" Lily asked curiously.

"Nothing much!" Sofie said almost immediately.

"Eva, I brought your favorite cookies" Lily squealed.

"Yay! Thanks" Eva giggled.

Lily sat beside Lucas, but she kept her distance and avoided his gaze.

"Lily, we need to talk" Lucas said.

"We don't have anything to talk about, Lulu... I mean, Lucas" Lily said with an eye roll.

"C'mon Lily, you guys should settle your differences" Sofie urged.

"Yeah! We need our L² back" Eva said, referring to Lily and Lucas.

"I'm afraid things can't go back to the way they were... Ugh! I can't even stand his presence" Lily said referring to Lucas.

Her words cut through his heart like a knife, hurting him to the core.

"Get well soon Eva... I'm leaving, Reed is waiting for me outside" Lily said and hugged Eva before waving at Sofie and leaving the ward.

"Lily!" Lucas called out, running after her.

Finally, he caught hold of her wrist, he pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry, Cutie" Lucas apologized. Lily struggled to get off his embrace.

"Let me go, Lucas!" Lily sneered.

"I won't let you go" Lucas said, burying his head in the crook of the neck.

"There's no point of apologizing if you ain't ready to tell me what I wanna hear" Lily snapped.

"I- I..." Lucas stuttered.

Reed walked over to them, he pulled Lily away from Lucas.

"Lily, are you okay?" Reed asked with concern.

"I'm fine" Lily said, clinging onto his arm, whilst hiding behind him.

"Stay away from her, Lucas!" Reed half yelled.

"And what business do you have with her?" Lucas asked.

"He's my boyfriend!" Lily spoke up, shocking both of them.

"What?!" Lucas said in utter shock.

"You heard her, stop pushing it. She doesn't wanna hear anything you've got to say" Reed snapped, shocking Lucas even more.

Reed held Lily's hand, leading her out of the place. Lucas blinked repeatedly, trying to digest the shock.

"Lily fell in love with him! No! I fucking love her" Lucas said with disbelief and anger in his eyes.

"History can't be repeating itself... We're both falling in love with the same girl again. Fuck!" Lucas cursed, ruffling his hair and moving back into Eva's ward.

Reed and Lily got into the back seats of the BMW. The driver ignited the engine and drove off.

"I'm sorry for telling him that you're my boyfriend" Lily apologized, nervously taking her lips into her mouth.

"It's okay! I'm glad I could help" Reed smiled.

"But we ain't dating, are we?" Lily asked.

"Not yet!" He said looking away, whilst smiling.

"Are we gonna pretend like we are in front of him?" Lily asked again.

"He can think whatever he wants, I don't give a fuck" Reed scoffed.

"Reed, what caused the rivalry between Lucas and you" Lily asked.

"It's a long story but I'd sum it up in one sentence" Reed said as Lily nodded.

"We fell in love with the same girl four years ago" Reed simply said.

"Oh! And what happened to her" Lily asked further but Reed's face saddened.

"That's all I can say, one sentence remember" Reed reminded.

"Yeah! Do you like someone else currently?" Lily asked curiously.

"Mn!" He simply nodded.

"Who's she?" Lily asked.

"She knows herself... I won't say her name" Reed said, leaving her puzzled.

"Can you describe what she looks like?" Lily inquired.

"She's really cute, short, has cute eyes and pink lips. She has a petite but slim body, a rounded bum- Perfect hour glass shape" Reed said. He literally just described Lily.

Lily checked out herself and noticed that she possessed those features. But she decided not to conclude yet.
