Some time has passed since that night...

1:00 p.m.

I was arranging the furniture in my mansion, the sunlight streaming through the tall windows and illuminating the polished wooden floors. "Man, this is tiring…" I sighed, wiping the sweat from my forehead. But almost everything was done—all that was left was to assemble the wardrobe in the master bedroom, and then my new home would be complete.

I stood in the backyard, the blue sky stretching out above me. "I'll put up a barbell out back," I thought, imagining the gleaming metal against the green grass. "Or maybe build a little gym? Hmm…" I put my hand on my chin, lost in thought, until I made up my mind. "I'll hire someone to do it, but not right now. For now, I'll stick to the gym."

Since that day, neither Sam nor Tory had called me. Their silence was heavy, but I had other things to occupy my mind. My car had finally arrived—it had taken longer than expected to be released, but now it was in my hands. "What a beauty," I murmured, admiring its sleek lines parked in the garage. "Without a doubt, it is perfect. In a while, I'll buy another one. No matter the world, the love for cars is in men's blood, hahaha."

Two hours later, I got in my car and went for a drive. The engine purred like a living beast beneath my hands. "Woof, woof, woof," I mimicked the sound in my head, chuckling to myself. "This thing is amazing. Everywhere I go, people stop to stare. That's crazy. I'm going to go for a drive near Cobra Kai."

As I drove, I spotted the skate park in the distance. "That one… isn't that Samantha and Roby?" I blinked, trying to remember. "Oh, yeah, there was that scene in the show, the skate park… It's been years since I watched it, I barely remember anything about it. But now that's basically my life—living for a show isn't exactly healthy."

Woman, woman.

Suddenly, I heard excited voices. "Hey, man, look at that car, it's awesome!" "Yeah, I've never seen one like it!" The kids on the track came closer, their eyes shining with curiosity.

Sam turned her head, and I saw recognition on her face. "Huh? That car is…" She knew who it belonged to.

Roby, next to her, also looked intrigued. "I was also surprised by a car like that…"

I stopped the car and got out, walking towards them with a slight tightness in my chest. "Sam… You haven't called me these days."

She looked at me hesitantly. "Clark…"

Roby's eyes widened. "This guy is Clark?" he thought, surprised. "Samantha's boyfriend… So he's rich."

"Hi, Sam. What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to keep my tone light.

"I came to take my car for a spin," I explained. "It arrived today, it took longer than I expected."

She nodded, her face serious, a shadow of anger in her eyes. "I see…"

Roby watched silently, oblivious to the tension between us. I reached out to him. "Hi, partner, I'm Clark."

He hesitated for a second, but shook my hand. "I'm Roby."

"Is everything okay here?" I asked, laughing a little to break the ice. "You guys have some serious faces, hahaha."

Sam crossed his arms. "This is none of your business, Clark. Please go away. I still haven't forgiven you for what happened."

Roby looked from me to her, confused, but didn't say anything.

"Okay," I said, sighing. "Whenever you want to talk, call me." And with that, I turned and left.

Roby broke the silence after I left. "What happened? Did you guys break up?"

"Something happened…" Sam replied evasively. "I have to go, Roby. Bye."

He stood there, alone, not really understanding.

As I drove back, I laughed to myself. "What did I expect? A kiss or a hug? Hahaha, of course that wasn't going to happen. Anyway, I'm going to go back to my apartment. Maybe I'll sleep there tonight. I'm thinking about leaving LA for a while…"

And then, as I contemplated leaving town, my phone rang.

Riiing, riiing, riiing.

"Answer it," I muttered, picking up the phone. "Hello?"

"Clark? It's Hayley. Do you remember me?"

"Hayley, of course! How are you?"

She hesitated before speaking, her voice heavy. "Listen, Clark… I'm pregnant. But I don't know if the baby is yours."

"Pregnant?!" I exclaimed, my heart racing.

"Yeah… You know, when a man and a woman do that thing and stuff…"

"Yes, yes, I know how to make a baby," I interrupted, still stunned. "The question is, is he mine?"

"I don't know for sure," she admitted. "We're trying to figure it out, but I need you to come to New Orleans, Louisiana."

"Louisiana?" I repeated in disbelief. "Hayley, that's over 2,000 miles from Los Angeles!"

"I know it's far, Clark, but I need you. If you don't come confirm this, the baby and I could be killed by the other alleged father."

I was silent for a moment, processing. "Okay, I'll go. I just need a few hours to get organized."

"Thank you so much, Clark," she said, relieved. "Really."

"You're welcome. Besides, I owed you a favor, remember?"

She laughed softly. "Haha, yes, I remember. Call me when you're close, please."

"It can leave."

I hung up the phone, cursing under my breath. "Damn, I'm going to have to go to Louisiana. That's crazy, it's so far away… But if I don't go, Klaus will probably kill them. Okay, let's go."

I went to Jhony's apartment, my trusted friend. Knock, knock, knock.

"I'm coming!" he shouted, opening the door. "Clark! Kid, where have you been?"

"Hi, Jhony. I've been busy these days. I moved to another house, not far from here. But that's not why I came. I wanted to ask you to take care of my car while I'm away."

"From your car?!" he exclaimed, surprised.

"Yeah. I need to make an emergency trip to Louisiana."

"Louisiana?! Boy, that's too far!"

"I know, but it's an emergency. There's no way around it. So, will you do me this favor?"

"Sure, kid! Where's the car?"

"Come with me." I took him to the garage, and when he saw the Pagani, his eyes almost popped out.

"What the hell is that?!" he shouted. "What kind of car is that, kid?"

"Hahaha, do you like it? It's a Pagani I bought the other day."

"Wow, I didn't know you had that much money. That car must cost a fortune!"

"Yeah, it's a little pricey," I admitted, laughing. "But will you take care of it for me?"

"Go ahead! I won't even scratch him, don't worry."

I smiled and tossed him the keys. "Feel free to wander around. Now, I need to pack my things. Can you give me a ride home?"

"Sure, I'll take the opportunity to take it for a test drive," he replied excitedly.

Jhony drove me home, still impressed by everything, and then dropped me off at the airport. I bought my ticket and boarded a plane to Louisiana. After a four-hour flight, I finally arrived.

"Okay, here I am," I muttered, breathing in the humid air of the place. "I hope I don't have to kill or fight anyone around here…"

I called Hayley.

Riiing, riiing, riiing.

"Clark?" she answered.

"Hi, I just arrived in Louisiana. I'm at the airport."
