The wolves captured by his demons and brought before him for judgement couldn't describe how he made them feel at the moment. They felt all kinds of emotion with just a simple glance from him.
But the one that stood out the most was fear.
It denied them of even the smallest movement of their body. They were unable to tear their gaze from him as he had them in a daze at his god-like appearance.
Truth be told, not many had seen how he truly looked like. Everyone just lived based on stories their ancestors passed down to them of what he is and how he looked like.
No one knew where he came from. They grew up hearing all kinds of stories. But all stories still boiled down to the fact that he was pure evil with an evil bone holding his demonic flesh together.
A monster worse than the ones they described in books. A God that was nothing like the righteous moon Goddess.
The author of many nightmares and destroyer of worlds. He consumes everything in his path that represents life.
The reason the fae kingdom was extinct, and their land remained barren and in ruins.
Their ancient adversary. The devil didn't really do half of what he'd done.
Nobody can truly account for his terrible deeds. They were too much to document in several textbooks and would take days to say it all.
The Demon Prince.
He slowly took his seat and leaned back on his throne, causing many of his subjects to be relieved of their position and return to how they were before he surprised them of his entry.
It was indeed nice to return home and be welcomed with the thing he loved to do the most.
Torturing wolves.
The King of nightmares leaned on one of the armrests of his throne and closed his eyes to think deeply for a few minutes.
How unfortunate of them. It now happened to be the time their ''God'' angered him the most they were caught by him. She managed to escape his wrath by convincing him of correcting her mistake.
Those eternal eyes were revealed to fall on the nine wolves they captured sneaking into his land.
The sins of a father may fall on his children—but tonight, the burden of their beloved God's mistake will rest on each of their heads.
His precious little girl that was trapped in the body of one of them because of their God would be left all alone, confused and probably scared by whatever was happening around her. And he couldn't be by her side or be the one to experience waking into her new life.
One of his hands balled into a tight, angry fist.
One of them literally terrorized his princess on the first day of her awakening. How should he forgive such a thing?
He wouldn't really care if it were one of the entities in this room that was being chased around mercilessly by a deranged wolf.
It couldn't be a mistake. She did it to mess him up, and he wouldn't hesitate to treat her fuck up as well.
He leaned forward on his throne, resting his hands on his laps as he smiled deviously at the visitors who still looked like they would soon pass out from fear anytime soon.
''Please, release the hold you have on your breaths and feel at home.''
The one who has refused to break eye contact with him clenched his cuffed hands resting on his laps. He had one of those ridiculously white hair and green eyes just like most of them. He looked like the one in-charge of the rest who were probably still peeing in their pants at the sight of him. Most likely regretting why they were so fearless and brave enough to venture into his lands without consulting their brains.
''You can't start panicking when we haven't started yet.''
The small amount of wolfs bane induced on the chains that held them bound…he was a bit impressed by their level of endurance to it or could it be part of their training as warriors since words had spread out that he loved to experiment it on them once in a while.
''I will not be wasting anybody's time and as much as I love being entertained by your kind—I have a lot to handle now that I'm back, so I'll keep this brief.''
The subtle hum of the fire burning on golden stands around him eased the silence a little.
''Was today's task to bring my head to the moon Goddess's temple?''
They did not say anything but continued to stare at him in that annoying way.
''The heads of your people I package as little presents should have resonated something in all of you by now.''
Apophis began to curl its body and bring its massive head to him, hissing for his permission to bring it to his laps. Its forked black tongue restless in-between its sharp fangs.
It must have missed him so much.
The Demon Prince welcomed the snake's head to rest on his lap as he ran his claws gently on its cold skin.
The wolves watched in awe not because of the existence of such a massive snake, but because the snake had been successfully charmed by him.
''At this point, you all just tempt me to be wicked. So, you could have chilling stories to tell about me to your pups.'' He shook his head at them in disappointment. He stared down in concern at the snake moving on his laps when it hissed again.
''Pophis, are you hungry?'' He asked in a gentle tone that surprised even his subject. The snake raised his head, its ominous red eyes directed at him, giving him an answer.
The Demon Prince's eyes then flickered to the pathetic form of the werewolves kneeling before him. They were all just going to be a distraction from the main things he has at hand to take care of. He would just make their punishment be as quick as possible so he could create time to lead his snake out to hunt for food.
But then again, he couldn't resist the idea that crawled to his mind. The thought of it alone was more than entertaining.
''Pophis, would you like to taste something different tonight? Like wolf meat for dinner?''
That was when real fear descended upon them when the enormous snake turned to observe them with a sinister glee flashing in his reptilian gaze. Even his subjects were beginning to share in the trauma.
''They have been brought before you and you need not stress yourself to haunt them down.''
The snake gazed back at its master to see if he was serious about this.
''Don't be shy to pick your favorites and let me deal with the rest.''
Some tried to tear off the chains clasped around their wrist and the demon guards were quick to make sure it remained on them. What was regarded as a titanoboa snake hissed as it slithered from its master's laps towards them.
The Demon Prince chuckled darkly as everyone—even those that were not going to be Apophis victims—shivered in fear and began to take slow steps away from the throne room just in case.
''Have fun.'' He encouraged.
