He gave her the sword and Eva stared down at it confused.
Prince Xalith gave her a smile when he noticed her bewilderment and said, "You do the final dance."
"What?!"
The moon guard waited patiently beside them as the crowd grew silent waiting to see who has been given the sword to complete the final dance. Eva's eyes was as wide as saucers. She couldn't believe they would choose her to go out there to perform the last part of the dance drama she isn't aware of.
Prince Xalith only maintained the smile on his face as he urged her to go.
"Don't worry, you will be fine. They would lead you and show you how you will sneak up on him. When you do, you grab him by the neck from behind, slit his throat with the fake sword, and he would fall dead at your feet."
It sounded easy to do, but it was going to be a terrible thing to do before a crowd of admirers.
"I don't think I… I am not…"
