Darkness scoffed, ''How very cowardly of you.''

''It is not,'' Xalith defended in a strong voice. ''I am just not interested in suicide.''

Xalith was basically trembling before this dark God even though he put up a good front of not being the least intimidated by him.

''And I will write to the Alpha King this evening to have you reviewed of your intentions towards us.''

Darkness made him feel stupid for threatening him with the look he punished Xalith with. He also didn't fail to catch the small nod his beloved gave in agreement to her new lover. What a cute way to support each other.

''What about you, sweetheart?'' Darkness turned to her causing her heart to sink deeper than a well in fear. Everyone was alarmed by his new approach. ''Care to inspire your fans about how dedicated you are to beheading someone like me?''
