The Assassin's Way.

Before the Naked goblins could sense him while they mated with their naked prisoners, Shadow flew into their midst in the blink of an eye.

He swirled about slicing the head of one of the goblins and melted into the shadows, before the goblin fell, he appeared again stabbing his daggers into the skull of another.

The goblins stood up in a panic, shouting among themselves, looking around them, searching for their killer, but it was useless.

Shadow was enraged.

He shot out of another's shadow, slicing off both its hands and stabbing its neck from behind.

Three down. Three to go.

He loved with a careful precision, which he had learned back in his days as an assassin. The training he was dealt with, the survival programs, his instincts.

Everything kicked in.

The goblins stopped him and shouted in a tongue known only to them. One screamed at Shadow and had a dagger thrown into its mouth.

Two to go.

One tried grabbing him from behind to crush him.

"Disgusting" Shadow mouthed as he melted into the shadows. He appeared at the top of the ceiling of the cave and jumped down with enough force to crack the surface. His long dagger in hand.

He sliced the goblin in half from head to toe.

One more!

He walked towards the last goblin, the monster ran away towards the wall. It looked beyond frightened. It saw something within Shadow that surpassed even death itself.

A human's rage was no fickle thing.

The goblin shouted at him and pointed, saying gibberish, but Shadow didn't kill this one so easily.

No, he would take his time.

Before the goblins could gain enough courage to attack him, Shadow chopped off both its legs.

It screamed beautifully, Shadow smiled at himself.

The goblin, unable to walk. Used its hands to wave off Shadow, to push him further away.

But Shadow hopped off those hands too.

The goblin cried a feral scream. But Shadow let it.

Slowly but carefully, he began dealing small, precise cuts to the body of the goblin. Not deep enough to kill it, but not so shallow that it wouldn't bleed.

He sliced and diced at the goblin. Every scream that came out from its mouth made Shadow's smile darken even further.

He wasn't aware of this. However he couldn't care at this point.

Finally, he stopped and looked at the dismembered body of the goblin. His smile slowly faded, as though he had just come back to his senses.

He walked away, leaving the goblin to die from blood loss. That was a fitting death.

Unfortunately, even if he didn't want to. He has to deal with the prisoners here.

As soon as he arrived, he noticed something. Some of the prisoners were drugged to the point that they began addicts. They looked at Shadow with a sense of hope.

Hope that he had something to give them, he could see the greed in their eyes. But those weren't his immediate concern.

It was the other pregnant women. He didn't know what to do with them. He wasn't sure where to start from.

The only reason he had killed that woman was because he could see what she was going through. It was revolting to say the least.

He decided to speak with them. He walked up to the closest one to him and tapped her feet.

She woke up in a daze. She had been unconscious.

"What are you doing here?" He asked her.

"No, no more… Please…" The woman said.

"Can you hear me?" He asked once more, his hole was fading.

"Please… Don't eat me, I'll let you fuck me, I'll birth your babies, please!" She cried out a little louder.

Shadow knew it was hopeless.

They were all drugged. He couldn't do anything to save them.

TWENTY MINUTES TILL TIME LIMIT.

The system reminds him.

Shit!

He had been so involved that he had forgotten his mission in the first place, he looked at them once more and decided that he would come back for them at a later date.

He had to finish off the goblins.

He looked back at the prisoners. Something told him that this smelled of humans. In some way or another he knew they were involved.

He would find them. And he would kill them.

He melted into a shadow and slipped past the oak wood door. He spread his senses and felt the gathering of shadows at an open space in the cave.

He dashed towards there. That was where he needed to be.

Soon enough he arrived there and what he saw stunned him a bit. Before him was an Ogre chief.

Dressed in decent rags and seemed to have the most intelligence of them all. Other goblins gathered around while the other Ogres kept them in line.

It was a confusing set-up because Goblins and Ogre's never got together. Which meant that the only reason they were together was because of the Ogre Chief.

The monster looked vicious as it held a staff in hand and looked about, sniffing the air.

It must have noticed me…

Shadow remained where he was as the Ogre chief shouted a command and three ogres rushed in the direction Shadow had just come from.

How did he know….

Aahh, the blood…

He looked down on himself and saw the blood of the goblins he had so happily killed. He couldn't waste anymore time.

His mana was almost finished. He melted into the shadows one last time.

Shadow was well aware of the body in which he resided. The body of a ten-year-old couldn't do much.

Neither was he going to delude himself that he could kill every monster in the cave. It was plain stupidity.

While in the shadows, he separated his dagger into two smaller ones, he jumped out of the shadows just behind the Ogre Chief.

With all his might, he drove both daggers into the sides of the Ogre's neck.

Killing him instantly.
