I rolled my eyes. "I feel bad that I crossed all boundaries. What I promised myself not to do, I did it." Tears swelled in my eyes. I was quick to wipe away the threatening tears.
"What do you mean by that?" he asked, looking concerned.
"I slept with you, Nicholas. Even though I hate to admit it. I feel bad that I did that when I know someone likes you and you flaunt her around like your girlfriend."
"But she isn't my girlfriend. She was never my girlfriend," he insisted.
He shook his head. "It doesn't matter. As long as the public knows her with you, it doesn't matter."
He rolled his eyes. "You shouldn't worry about her. You don't know even half of the story, so why worry?"
"I don't need to know any story to know that you are selfish."
"Now I'm the selfish one? Then you should have thought about that before sleeping with me," he raised his voice.
