Weekend plans.

Kenzie crossed her arms, her eyes burning with irritation as she stared at the door as she stared at the door. "What a joke!" she muttered, her voice low but angry. "That moron, What the hell is his problem? We're late for class, so what? Does he have to make a whole scene about it which his stupid accent. Like who the hell does he think he is?"

Jessica rolled her eyes, her lip curling with disdain, "Honestly, that Irish accent makes everything he says sound even more ridiculous. So lame."

Zoe let out a frustrated sigh, running her hand through her hair, "If Mr. Sterling or Mr. Bonstein finds us here is straight detention!"

"Stop being a pussy Zoe! It's pathetic."

"What do you mean Kenz? If not for you I'd not be here, your anger issues are the cause of us standing here and even heading to detention!"

"Zoe, I remember I don't have your legs on me, right? So, stop being a coward and face it Miss two-faced."

"You..." Zoe then got cut off by Jessica who was trying to act as a mediator.

"Zoe, man up! If you guys keep arguing then it might add to other problems and I'm not trying to get caught in between them, so, I'm leaving." She said and then turned to walk away.

"Where are you, Jess?"

"Away from you, I'm going home!"

"Then let's go hang out, all of us, right Kenz?" Zoe said.

The boy who was sent out before, Zac, stood there as he watched the girls leave after a few curses! ~Wow, they truly don't care~

As the final bell rang, Dream, Wave and Taya strolled out of their classroom, the hallway bustling with students eager to head home. Students happy for the weekend. Dream turned to her friends after picking their bags from their lockers, her bubbly voice breaking through the noise.

"Fellows, What are we doing this weekend?" Dream asked, her voice with the exaggerated Irish accent she'd been doing since Mr. Kavanagh's class, "Horse ridin'? Kayakin'? Playin' a bit o' golf, perhaps? Or maybe havin' a grand ol' bonfire at Taya's family cabin?"

Wave burst out laughing, "Dream, you're impossible."

"I'm channelin' me inner Ms. O'leary," Dream replied, referencing her made up name. She raised her hand dramatically like she was giving a lecture, "Ye mustn't waste a fine weekend indoors, lassies! The outdoors is where the magic of chemistry comes alive!"

Taya's face lit up at the suggestion, "A bonfire sound amazing."

"I can't join any magical weekend plans. I have to work at the convenience store."

Dream's eyes widened as she kept up her act, "'Ah, workin' hard for yer bread, are ye, Wave? Tis noble, but perhaps we could lend ye a hand, aye?"

"What?" Wave asked as they stood.

"You know what? I'm coming to help you. It'll be fun!" A mischievous grin spreading across her face.

Wave raised an eyebrow, "YOU? Helping at the store? Ms. O'leary, you wouldn't last an hour."

"Oh, ye of little faith," Dream shot back, placing a hand on her chest, "I can stock shelves, greet customers and do.... whatever else it is you do there."

Taya chuckled, shaking her head, "Dream, you in a convenience store sounds like chaos waiting to happen. But I kind of want to see it, so I'll join too."

"Taya, you sound like I'm going to be a disaster."

"You will!"

Wave stared at them both, half exasperated, half amused, "You're really willing to spend your weekend working just to hang out with me?"

"Don't flatter yourself, we just want to see how a convenience store works." Dream joked, they laughed, "We're your best friends Wavy. And honestly, it'll be an adventure. Who knows? Maybe we'll meet cute guys."

Taya smiled warmly, "Plus, we can still plan a bonfire for another time. Beside Hunter and his friends have plans at the cabin this weekend."

Wave sighed but couldn't suppress a small smile, "Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you when you get tired of folding chip bags, lifting crates or dealing with cranky customers."

"Bring it on!" Dream declared, linking arms with her friends, "But for the lifting Taya will do it!"

Taya shot her a side look. Dream only said, "What? you're a black belt Taya!"

"You're a black belt?" Wave asked amazed.

"No big deal. I only trained for 2 years but someone trained for 5 tears and is an amateur."

"Taya, I don't have a brother to help me train!"

"Or you don't have any big motivation except for seeing a crush and when he left you quit!"

"I mean girls are not supposed to be violent but more like a doll, Right Wave?"

''Wave don't listen to her silly excuse. It's not about being violent but being independent motherfucker!'

The three of them walked down the sidewalk, the afternoon sun casting long shadows on the pavement. Dream continued with her Irish accent, throwing out random phrases as Taya and Wave stifle their laughter.

"When we get to this grand convenience store, "Dream continued, "We'll organize the shelves like it's a fine science experiment. Soda bottles in rows, candy bars aligned to perfection and don't get me started on the crisps! They'll look like a rainbow of salty delights!"

Wave groaned, half amused, "Ms. O'Leary is back! but why do you sound as if you can't wait to eat everything more like working? If you're going to talk like that, you'll scare customers."

Taya giggled, "Honestly, I'd pay to see you ty to explain a sale in that voice."

Dream gasped, clutching her chest theatrically, "A sale, ye say? Why, I'll draw 'em in like moths to a flame! 'Step right up, folks! We've got bargains that'll make yer head spin!' "

"More like a market chant! You'll make them run the other way," Wave muttered, shaking her head.

Dream ignored her, spinning around to walk backward as she continued, "Picture it: a bustling store, customers enchanted by our charm and efficiency and when they leave, they'll say, 'That was the finest shopping experience of me life!' "

Taya nudged Wave, her smile soft, "You know, she's kind of right. This could be fun, even if it's just to see Dream's antics in action."

Wave sighed, but there was a glimmer of amusement in her eyes, "Fine, but if it's not fun or you cause any trouble, I'm out."

"Trouble?" Dream echoed, raising her eyebrows in mock innocence, "Why, Wave, I'm as harmless as a kitten!"

Wave raised an eyebrow, her tone dry, "A kitten that accidentally sets things on fire."

As soon as Wave said that they remembered that earlier during Chemistry lesson Dream had mixed a lot of chemicals during a practical that caused a fire explosion.

"Ah, but fire's the essence of chemistry!" Dream shot back, resuming her Irish accent, "It's all about control, ye see!"

Taya laughed, her shoulders shaking, "I can't believe this is how we're spending our weekend."

"Well, it's too late to back out now. Let's just hope the store survives." with a resigned smile Wave said.

Dream clapped her hands together, "Don't worry, ladies. With me on the team, we'll be legendary!"

They all got in Dream's car where they were ushered in by Martin, Dream's driver.

"Martin, take us to Harmony." Taya instructed Dream's driver.

~Harmony is an arcade where students from Hartley liked to hang out to play games, karaoke, use the lounge. It was a safe haven for Hartley's students. Jace was at Harmony and Taya was going to get him so they could go back home. ~

On reaching Harmony, the trio alighted as they left their bags in the car. Taya called Jace but he didn't pick up so they had to go find him inside. Dream was so excited to go inside since she had never got inside as she was banned by her dad.

"Martin, we're going to get Jace, Taya's brother, we'll be back soon." Dream informed Martin before they got in.

To avoid Dream getting into problems with her dad, Taya wanted them to go straight to find Hunter but on entering they passed a jewelry store and Dream suggested they should go check it out.

"Wow! we should get this!" It was a delicate friendship chains paired with a shining bangles in the display.

The chains was adorned with tiny charms and a ruby, though the rubies were different colors and the design was the same.

Wave looked at the price and wondered if they were going to just purchase it. I mean even if they were to nail her to the floor there was no way she was going to afford it unless they divided the price fifteen times.

"It should be our friendship keepsake!" Dream said

"They're really pretty." Taya seconded

The saleswoman there kept on praising them on how their friendship bond was strong and how it'll suit them. Wave wondered how to tell them that she can't get it and not because its not pretty or anything like that but more of its too expensive.

"We'll take them all!" Taya said decisively.
