Chips

Liam's POV

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. I really didn't want to be here to be talking to these poisoners calmly. I would've personally taken them to one of my warehouses scattered across town if I wasn't unconscious and disoriented that day. I couldn't reveal that side of me to Patricia.

She saw me as some guy she could just walk all over and do as she pleased. Well, she was absolutely right but still, I was more than just that and she didn't need to know.

The prisoners were wearing orange prison clothes and they looked comfortable. It made my jaw tick. I wanted to kick them both and send them flying across the room, but I knew I had to calm down and not act out of character in front of this woman.

We watched them for a while, then Patricia used her knees to kick mine from under the table, urging me to address them. I knew she wanted to do the same but she was probably respecting my decisions since we were in public.
