Unexpected arrival

Alia's breaths came in ragged gasps as she declared, "You'll never leave this place alive!" Her words had barely faded when a group of rough-looking men emerged from the shadows, knives glinting in their hands. One of them pressed the blade against Mehwish's neck, making her tremble.

Alia's gaze locked onto Rahil's. "Will you let me go, or should I tell him to kill Mehwish? The choice is yours. Release my hands, Rahil." Rahil hesitated before freeing Alia's hands.

A defiant smile spread across Alia's face. "You'll never defeat me." With a swift motion, she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Boss, what do I do with them now?" she asked, her voice dripping with malice.

The voice on the other end growled, "Take care of them for now. I'll decide what to do next and Alia has inverted heart-shaped bracelet and I want that bracelet whatever it takes just get it, Alia said okay boss.

Alia strode over to Rania, her voice low and menacing. "Hand over the bracelet, quietly." Rania's expression was innocent. "Which bracelet?"

Alia's eyes narrowed. "Don't play dumb." She began to frisk Rania, but there was no sign of the bracelet. Alia's grip on her gun tightened. "Where is it?"

Rania shrugged, confusion etched on her face. "I really don't understand what you're talking about." Alia's gaze turned icy, the gun still trained on Rania. "Tell me, where is the bracelet with the inverted heart?"

Rania's eyes widened in shock, her mind racing. How did Alia know about the bracelet? What was so special about it? Her father had entrusted it to her, making her promise to keep it safe. There must be something more to the bracelet, something her father hadn't told her.

Just then, Javed interrupted, "What's going on? What's this about a bracelet?" Rania shook her head, feigning ignorance. "I have no idea."

Alia's voice was laced with malice. "You won't tell me? I'll count to three, and if you don't, I'll shoot."

Danish intervened, "You can't shoot her, Alia. Only Rania knows about the bracelet."

Alia sneered, "I may not be able to kill her, but I can hurt her. I'll torture her until she talks."

Rahil pleaded, "No, Alia, don't do this."

Alia began counting, "One..." Rahil's voice was laced with pain, "No...please don't."

Rania insisted, "I don't know what you're talking about."

Alia continued, "Two..." The room fell silent, with all eyes fixed on Alia. Fear was palpable.

Alia's voice was cold, "Three..." Rania closed her eyes, bracing for the worst. Suddenly, a voice echoed, "Stop!" Everyone turned to see who had spoken.

Rania swiftly kicked Alia's hand, sending the gun flying into her own grasp. With Alia's own gun now pointed at her, Rania warned the thugs, "Back off, or I'll shoot Alia."

Rahil's voice was filled with surprise, "What's going on? Who's this?" A 13-year-old girl appeared, drawing everyone's attention.

Rania's eyes widened in shock. "Ana...what are you doing here?" Alia snarled at her thugs, "What are you waiting for? Kill the girl!"

Rania's grip on the gun tightened. "No, or I'll shoot Alia." Alia sneered, "My gun has no bullets." Ana rushed toward Rania.

Danish exclaimed, "What's happening here?!"

As the chaos unfolded, Javed's bewildered voice rose above the din. "Nothing makes sense!" Ana, oblivious to the danger, innocently wandered closer to Rania.

Alia's voice, laced with malice, cut through the air. "Shoot the girl!" she commanded her thugs. One of them hesitated for a fleeting moment before pulling the trigger. The sound of the gunshot echoed through the room.

Rania's instincts kicked in, and with lightning-fast reflexes, she yanked Ana into a tight embrace, shielding her from harm. The bullet grazed Rania's hand, leaving a trail of blood and pain in its wake. Rania's eyes widened as she cried out, her voice hoarse with agony.

The room erupted into pandemonium as Rahil, Danish, and Javed valiantly fought back against Alia's thugs. Mehwish rushed to Rania's side, her face etched with concern. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Rania clenched her teeth, fighting to suppress the pain. "I'm fine," she managed to whisper, her eyes locked onto Ana's terrified face.

Ana's voice trembled as she revealed, "sister, the bracelet with the inverted heart is in my hand." Alia's eyes gleamed with obsession as she stepped forward, demanding, "Give me the bracelet."

Rania swiftly retrieved the bracelet from Ana, her grip tightening around it. "You'll never have it," she declared, her voice firm.

Alia sneered, "We'll see about that." Just then, Javed, Danish, and Rahil subdued the thugs and joined Rania. Rahil's curiosity got the better of him. "What's so special about this bracelet?"

Rania's eyes locked onto Alia. "There's something about this bracelet that's connected to this case." Alia's patience wore thin. She snatched a gun and aimed it at Rania. "Hand over the bracelet."

Rania called her bluff. "There are no bullets in that gun." Alia smirked. "You're incredibly naive. I lied about the bullets, and you believed me." With a sinister smile, Alia cocked the gun and fired.

As Alia closed in on Rania, her fingers grasped for the bracelet, but Rahil swiftly intervened, wresting the gun from Alia's hand. His eyes narrowed, "Now, quietly reveal your boss's name, or I'll shoot you. We both know I'm not one to hesitate, and around here, everyone's aware of my reputation."

Alia's smile was laced with venom. "You'll find there's only one bullet in this gun, and I've already fired it." Javed's confusion deepened. "What's going on here? First, there's a bullet, then there isn't, and now there's only one?"

Rania's voice was firm. "We need to get out of here. We can't let her have this bracelet." Javed nodded. "You all leave. I'll handle her." Rahil agreed, "Alright, let's go."

As they departed, the group split up, each pair fleeing in separate bikes, taking different directions. Rania instructed, "We'll meet at the lab, taking separate routes to ensure we're not followed."

As the others escaped, Alia struck Javed on the head with a rod, rendering him unconscious. She then hopped on a bike, determined to pursue Rania and reclaim the bracelet.

Rania, sensing Alia's pursuit, accelerated her bike, taking a detour to throw Alia off her trail. Alia trailed closely, her eyes fixed on Rania's bike.

Rania expertly navigated the winding roads, but her bike suddenly sputtered and stalled. Alia closed in, and Rania spotted a dense jungle ahead. Without hesitation, she abandoned her bike and sprinted into the jungle, desperate to evade Alia.

Meanwhile, Danish, Mehwish, Rahil, and Ana arrived at the lab, awaiting Rania and Javed's arrival. Two hours ticked by, and Rahil grew restless. "Why haven't Rania and Javed shown up yet?"

Danish's brow furrowed. "Something's off. I think they might be in trouble." Rahil nodded in agreement. "You're right, Danish."

Danish turned to Mehwish. "You and Ana stay here. Rahil and I will go look for Rania and Javed." Mehwish nodded, concern etched on her face. "Okay, be careful."
