As the darkness of the night deepened, Javed, Mehwish, Danish, Rania, and Rahil arrived at the cave on the outskirts of the jungle at 9:45. It was the same cave where Rania's bracelet lay. The cave had two paths, and Rahil turned to Rania, asking, "Which path did you take when you lost your bracelet?"
Rania's brow furrowed in concentration, but she shook her head, "I don't remember. I was in a hurry at that time."
Rahil nodded thoughtfully and suggested, "Javed, Mehwish, and Danish will take the left path, and Rania and I will take the right path." Everyone agreed.
As they ventured deeper into the cave, a faint crack appeared on the wall. Rahil's voice echoed through the cavern, "Wait!" Danish's eyes widened in alarm, "Is the cave going to explode?" Javed's expression turned grave, "According to my general knowledge, it will explode in exactly 10 minutes. I've read about such phenomena in my books."
Rania's voice was laced with urgency. "We need to get out of here within 10 minutes." Mehwish's concern was palpable. "But what if we don't make it?" Rania's determination was unwavering. "If we don't, Ana be the villain's next target, since Alia saw the bracelet with your sister ana the first time."
Rahil's resolve was evident. "We can't let that happen. Ana is still a child." Rania instructed, "Mehwish, you stay outside." Mehwish countered, "You should stay." Rania clarified, "I know where the bracelet might be. We're wasting time. We have 8 minutes left."
Rahil urged, "Alright, let's hurry. Rania, lead the way." Rania hugged Mehwish and reminded her, "Take care of Ana my sister, please." Mehwish reassured, "Don't say that. You all need to come back safely." Javed prompted, "Let's move. We're running out of time."
As Rahil instructed, Danish and Javed took the left path, while Rahil and Rania proceeded down the right path.
The cave's paths converged, leading to a single opening. Javed and Danish walked until they reached a pit, and coincidentally, Rania and Rahil also arrived at the same spot, reuniting with the others. Javed observed, "There's no bracelet in the passage." Danish turned to Rania, "How could you have thrown the bracelet so far from outside the cave?" Rania attempted to deflect the question, "That's not the point..." Javed interrupted, "Where is it?" Rahil drew their attention to the pit, "Look down there. There's a wooden plank, and something's stuck to it." Rania exclaimed, "Now, how do we retrieve it? We only have 4 minutes left!" Rania urged, "Let's stop wasting time. There's a rope here. One of us needs to go down, and the others can hold the rope." Javed volunteered, "I'll go." Rania's eyes widened in alarm, "No!" Danish asked, "Why not?"
Rania's voice trembled as she whispered, "Your weight is too much." Rahil's eyes narrowed, "So, you want me to go?" Rania shook her head, her eyes wide with fear. "No, it's just that...heights are my weakness. I'm terrified of heights." Rahil's expression softened, and he reassured her, "Then I'll go."
With a deep breath, Rahil grasped the rope and began his descent into the pit. Danish, Javed, and Rania held the rope, their faces set with concern, as they ensured Rahil's safety. Finally, Rahil retrieved the bracelet and climbed back up, handing it to Rania.
Javed insisted, "We have to leave this place quickly. We've already wasted eight minutes." Rania's tone was filled with intrigue as she remarked, "One of us will surely escape." Rahil's gaze fixated on hers as he inquired, "What are you trying to say?"
Rania's answer caught them off guard. She broke into a fit of hysterical laughter, leaving the rest of them shocked and perplexed. Their faces mirrored their bewilderment, and Rahil was visibly taken aback by her unexpected reaction.
