Sellyna scrolled through the phone screen for some time, her eyebrows knitted together, her mind full of questions. What news should she read to Jayden?

"What are you doing?" Jayden asked as Sellyna remained silent.

"Are you still here?" he asked again, raising his hand to look for Sellyna.

Sellyna grabbed Jayden's hand immediately. "Of course, but..."

"But what?" Jayden was getting curious.

"The news is all terrible," Sellyna said quietly.

Jayden let out a heavy sigh. "Try opening your email inbox. Is there anything important?" he asked. " Ust read it," he ordered.

Sellyna did as Jayden said. After reading all the incoming messages in the email, Jayden asked again, "Are you sure you want to help me?"

"Yes, of course," Sellyna said happily.

Jayden told Sellyna what to do, and Sellyna went to Karin's and took the computer to Jayden's room. From then on, Jayden and Sellyna grew closer because of her extra work. Jayden trusted Sellyna and taught her a few things.

"Your memory is perfect, Sir." Sellyna praised him.

"Of course, I am a brilliant Young Master." The man said in a sad voice.

"You will surely recover one day." Sellyna encouraged. "Em, have you ever thought about getting an eye donor?" she asked cautiously.

"Can you see my eyes!" Jayden begged.

Sellyna turned to him and looked into Jayden's eyes. The man stared at Sellyna blankly.

"What do you think of the color of my eyes?" Jayden asked again.

"Um, beautiful." Sellyna unconsciously replied, hypnotized by Jayden's hazel eyes. Sellyna was very nervous, even though she knew Jayden was blind. "Is that why you don't want an eye donor?"

"The chances of a match are slim," Jayden replied quietly. "Thank you for your encouragement, Sellyna."

Sellyna nodded and cleared her throat. "I hope there's another way, and you can heal. For now, just command me. I'm ready to do anything for you. Think of me as your eyes, okay?" Sellyna said.

"Can you be trusted?" Jayden asked to confirm.

'Well, that depends on you. Whether you want to trust me or not, I won't force you to."

Jayden smiled, holding Sellyna spellbound for a moment. The man, who was originally temperamental when he smiled, was very handsome and charming. Sellyna thought to herself how lucky she was to be Jayden's fiancée. Sellyna was very jealous because she was only a personal maid with contract-wife status.

A week passed as they got to know each other, and Jayden became better and more obedient, making Sellyna's job easier. His appetite was good, too, which made Sellyna even more proud of her hard work in winning over the impulsive man.

"Good morning, Sir," Sellyna said as she opened the door. She carried a tray of food. But Jayden did not greet her this time. He lay weakly on his bed, whimpering.

Sellyna approached, placed the food tray on the bedside table, and then checked on Jayden.

"Sir, are you sick?" Sellyna was very surprised to see Jayden's body temperature rising.

Jayden whimpered and grabbed Sellyna's hand.

"Hang on, I'll call Karin," Sellyna said as she left Jayden's room. She went to look for Karin in the main house.

"Mr. Jayden is sick; please call a doctor," Sellyna pleaded hopefully.

"What is it? Mr Jayden has been sick all this time." Karin looked at Sellyna incredulously.

"He's got a fever, but with regular feeding, he's getting better. Mr Jayden has also started to teach me how to look after his work. How is that?" Sellyna was very worried.

Karin left without another word.

Sellyna stared disappointedly at her departure, then returned to Jayden's room with a bowl of warm water and began compressing Jayden to reduce his body heat. Sellyna waited anxiously for Karin, who soon arrived with Mr. Smith and a doctor.

Sellyna was asked to wait outside, and as she waited, She looked worried. She was afraid that she had made a mistake, especially since this was about Jayden, who had been getting sicker after Sellyna had worked here.

After examining Jayden, the doctor came out with Mr Smith and Karin.

Sellyna went up to Karin and started asking questions. "What happened?"

"Mr Jayden is sick because his stomach was shocked by the food that came in."

Sellyna was surprised. "So Mr Jayden got sick from eating?" she asked for confirmation. "How strange," she muttered.

Karin nodded. "So far, Mr Jayden has only eaten one bite daily, sometimes none. So it's only natural that his body is surprised that in the last few days, Mr Jayden has eaten more than ever."

Sellyna nodded and began to understand the situation, and then they left Sellyna alone.

Sellyna went back to Jayden's room to keep him company. She mumbled as she looked worriedly at Jayden. She also went back to pressing Jayden's forehead, hoping that Jayden would get better soon.

During Jayden's illness, Sellyna did not have much work and did not even do extra work. When Sellyna had free time, she would walk around outside the pavilion.

One afternoon, after lifting the drying clothesline, Sellyna was surprised by the arrival of a woman. She was beautiful and dressed in expensive clothes. Sellyna went over to greet her.

"Excuse me, who are you?" she asked carefully.

The woman turned her head and jumped when she saw Sellyna. "Are you the new maid?" she asked back.

Sellyna nodded. "Yes, my name is Sellyna; how can I help you?" she asked again.

"Um, nothing." She turned to stare at the door to Jayden's room, then walked away.

Sellyna was surprised but didn't ask many questions and went into Jayden's room. "Good afternoon, sir!" greeted Sellyna.

"Where have you been?" Jayden asked curiously.

"I was just taking the washing line down. Are you taking a shower?" Sellyna asked in confirmation.

"No, I don't want a shower," Jayden refused.

Sellyna was annoyed that Jayden was having difficulty getting himself to bathe. "You haven't had a bath in three days," Sellyna said irritably. "Yesterday, I understood because you were sick, but this time, you're better," Sellyna said.

"How dare you scold me!" said Jayden unhappily.

"That's not it. Are you okay with not showering?" Sellyna asked. You better take a shower soon because I just saw a beautiful woman who seems to want to meet you."

Deg!

Jayden was startled and immediately hid under his blanket. "If she comes back here, just throw her out," Jayden said coldly.

Sellyna turned her head and was startled. She closed the cupboard door carefully. "Why?"

"Don't ask too many questions; just throw her out!" Jayden said firmly.

"But maybe..."

"She must be Zenayya."

Sellyna frowned. "Doesn't that mean she's your fiancée?" she asked as she approached. "Maybe she misses you," she said again. "So hurry up and take a shower and meet her," Sellyna ordered as she pulled back the blanket Jayden was hiding under.

Jayden pulled the blanket back. "No way!"

"Take a shower," Sellyna ordered. "You're such a slob, don't you think you stink?" she asked again, pulling the covers off Jayden.

He grabbed the sheet and hid under it. "I don't want to, you don't understand!" Jayden said.

"Well, I'll throw him out if you want a shower," Sellyna said. "I've prepared some hot water for you, so don't refuse," Sellyna said.

"Do you promise?" he asked again for confirmation.

"Yes!" Sellyna said reassuringly. She reached over and quickly took Jayden's hand. She persuaded him to get cleaned up. While Jayden was in the bathroom, Sellyna changed his sheets and blankets and left.

"Sellyna!" Jayden called from the bathroom.

Sellyna rushed into the bathroom and helped Jayden back to his bed.

"I'm bringing you dinner. Is there anything you want on the menu?" Sellyna asked reassuringly.

"Nothing," Jayden replied calmly.

Sellyna apologized and hurried out of Jayden's room. However, shortly after Sellyna left, someone entered Jayden's room and greeted him.

"Hello, how are you?" she asked.

Jayden panicked and threw things at the voice.

Zenayya, who had just entered, was startled.

"Get away!" Jayden shouted.

"Honey, it's me!" Zenayya said, still trying to get into the room. But Jayden threw another object at her, which she could quickly grab.

Zenayya had no choice but to leave the room and close the door. The girl stood thoughtfully in front of Jayden's room door, wanting to open it again but afraid that Jayden would throw things at her again.

Sellyna came in with a tray of food and approached the woman.

"What is it, Miss?" she asked, bending down to look at the woman's face.

Zenayya looked up, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I envy you; you could get in without being thrown out."

Sellyna was surprised and confused. "I'll try to persuade him, but for now, Miss should rest."

Zenayya wiped away her tears. "How is he now?" Zenayya asked curiously.

"Much better," Sellyna replied. "Or, to put it another way, how about you shut up and follow me?" she offered. "So you can see Mr Jayden up close."

Zenayya shook her head. "Thank you, but I think he will know where I am, and that will make it difficult for you," She said. In that case, I'll come back later," She said and excused herself.

Sellyna began to open the door. "Sir, your dinner is ready," Sellyna said as she came closer. She looked around the room, which was already littered with broken things.

"Why didn't you throw her out?" Jayden asked in an annoyed tone.

"Oh, I didn't know she was coming here."

"She just walked into my room!" he grumbled.

"I'm sorry, Sir." Sellyna set a small table on Jayden's lap and then placed the food in front of him.

"You must be punished."

"Yes?" Sellyna was surprised.

"Feed me!" he begged.

Frowning, Sellyna sat down beside Jayden and began to feed him. Was this a punishment? Hadn't she always fed Jayden? It was just that the situation was different now; Sellyna was not feeding Jayden by force but naturally.
