Damien's face turned ashen in an instant. He gritted his teeth and slammed his fist into his own face.
"I'm such an idiot! A complete animal! To be so utterly bewitched by a woman! Sir, I know I've screwed up. I'm ready to face any consequences! Whether it's being kicked out of the organization or court-martialed, I don't care. I just beg you, please send someone to look for my darling again. She may have been blown into the sea, but she might just be injured. There's still a chance she's alive! She's carrying my child, for God's sake!"
Draven coldly stared at Damien without responding. Suddenly, Damien's emotions flared up again.
"Sir! I demand to see Jolene! I refuse to believe that she's been undercover, gathering intel on me for a year, and I never noticed a thing. There must be some mistake! I need to confront her myself. If it's true, I'll be the first one to make her pay!"
