The controversy had erupted, and soon, it was common knowledge. Initially, Sean remained stubborn—clinging to whatever authority he could, unwilling to relinquish the business to me.

However, his long-standing clients began to abandon him one after another. They terminated agreements, withdrew from joint ventures, and distanced themselves from any dealings with him.

"We avoid partnering with individuals who have complicated personal lives," one client stated frankly.

"Indeed. If you can't handle your marriage, how can we rely on you to manage a company?" another chimed in. "Your extramarital affairs suggest your business is declining. It's bound to fail."

"Mr. Morris," someone else remarked, "You'd better find new associates because, honestly? I doubt you'll keep that CEO position for much longer."

Sean faced derision, scorn, and humiliation everywhere he turned. He was rapidly losing ground, with no escape route.
