Child of the Seas

Mark Maris has always been drawn to the sea. As a teenager with a lifelong passion for the ocean, he has felt its call ever since he was a child.



Growing up with an absent mother and a father whose reputation…could be improved upon, Mark's life has been marked by hardship and struggle.



Despite his unwavering desire to belong on the water, he has faced numerous setbacks in his quest to join a crew to be closer to the sea. Each attempt has been thwarted by his troubled background and the scepticism of others.



But Mark’s luck changes when he finally finds himself aboard a pirate ship, surrounded by a ragtag crew of… interesting, outlaws. On this vessel, he encounters the thrill of adventure and the dangers of the open sea.



In this world you will find magic, terrifying monsters, (in both the sea and on land) sprawling coastal cities and a lot of danger.
