When Dante and his team stepped through the massive entrance door of the Eternal Tower, they were greeted by a dark silence. The corridors were wide and cold, the walls covered in ancient enchantments. There was an intense power in the air.
Kaelene spoke, breaking the silence. "This place feels alive. Like it's watching us."
Lucian nodded as he looked around intently. "This tower is not just a structure. It's like an entity merged with the energy of Oblivion. Our every step here could be being watched."
Dante kept his pistols at the ready, maintaining his composure. "Then let's teach this tower a lesson."

Traps Between Floors
As the team made their way quickly through the first floors of the tower, they encountered magic-controlled mechanical weapons and traps. However, this time the enemy was not only mechanical. The ghosts of enemies they had killed in the past had risen to block their path.
Kaelene shouted as she parried a ghost with her sword. "It's Elysia's guards! We killed them!"
Ryker added, opening fire on the ghosts. "These things don't disappear with normal weapons! Kaelene, use your magic sword!"
Kaelene plunged her magical sword into the heart of a ghost, neutralising it. "They're only weakened by magic! Watch out for the others!"
Lucian dodged the ghosts, drawing his daggers. "This is only the beginning. The power of Oblivion can do more than play with the dead."
Dante continued upwards, ignoring the ghosts. "This is the endgame. No matter what he does, he can't stop us."

Centre Hall: Oblivion's Army
When they reached the centre of the tower, they were confronted by a large army of Oblivion's loyal soldiers. These soldiers were figures clad in dark armour, their eyes radiating death. The battle began immediately.
Dante opened fire with both pistols and charged into the midst of the enemy. With nimble movements, he knocked down his opponents before he ran out of bullets. After knocking down one enemy, he quickly turned to another and shot him in the head.
Kaelene parried the attack of a group of soldiers with her sword. But these soldiers were resistant to magic, even with their armour. "These things are powerful! Move fast!"
Ryker provided support by firing from a distance. However, some of the soldiers were completely immune to the bullets. "I need to use explosives to stop them!"
Lucian knocked down a group of soldiers with a magical explosion. "This war cannot be won by physical strength alone. Strategise!"
Dante knocked down an armoured soldier and pointed his pistols at his head. "Strategy? That's my strategy." He pulled the trigger and the soldier collapsed.
After a long and hard battle, the team managed to defeat all the enemies. But it had taken its toll on them.

Top of the Tower: Confrontation with Oblivion
Finally, the team made their way to the top of the tower. The Black Moon was visible through the windows and the energy of the ritual permeated every corner of the room. In the centre of the centre, on an enormous throne, sat Oblivion.
Oblivion rose majestically from his seat, a superhuman being in heavy armour. "Dante... It took longer than I expected. But you're finally here."
Dante spoke coldly. "Your games are over, Oblivion. This tower will be your tomb."
Oblivion replied with a laugh. "Do mere mortals like you think you can defeat me? My strength comes from the power of the Black Moon. I am unstoppable."
The battle broke out between Dante and Oblivion. Oblivion attacked with a huge sword and spells. Each blow shook the ground and vibrated the air.
Kaelene and Ryker tried to break through the outer layers of Oblivion's energy, while Dante fought him face to face. With quick movements, Dante dodged Oblivion's attacks and aimed his pistols at its weak points.
Lucian provided support from behind with a bolt of magical energy. "Oblivion's energy is linked to the Black Moon! We must cut its power!"
Kaelene placed a magical symbol that disrupted the Black Moon's energy. But to do so, she needed to distract Oblivion.
Dante parried Oblivion's attack and advanced on him. 'Come on, this ends here.'
Finally, Dante seized the opportunity. At Oblivion's moment of weakness, he aimed his silver-plated pistols and fired two shots. The bullets tore through Oblivion's armour.
Oblivion fell to his knees. 'It's... impossible...'
Dante approached him, pointed his pistol at him one last time and whispered coldly: "Jackpot."
He pulled the trigger and Oblivion ceased to exist.

The Fall of the Tower
With Oblivion's death, the tower began to shake. The disruption of the ritual was causing the structure to collapse. The team quickly began to flee to get out.
Kaelene shouted to Dante. "Come on! We need to get out of here!"
Dante took one last look back at the throne of Oblivion and then joined the team.
Dante and his team made it out as the tower completely collapsed under the shadow of the Black Moon.
A New Era
The team stood on a hilltop away from the tower and watched it. The Brotherhood of Shadows and Oblivion were now completely destroyed. But the world still had to lick its wounds.
Dante took a deep breath, putting his pistols away. "One war is over. But I'm sure another one awaits us."
Kaelene added with a smile. "This time we'll be ready."
Ryker closed his map and turned to the team. "Come on, it's time to rest."
Lucian stared silently into the distance. He still needed a journey to make peace with his past.
