Chapter 23: Kuro Nabi: Part 1
Kuro is running around looking for enemies until he hears an announcement from the instructor.
Instructor: 25 students are remaining, the student with the most bells right now is Kazuo Natski with 5 bells. I repeat Kazuo Natski has the most bells.
Kuro: That Kazuo, he sure is showing off. What happened to that not trying to stand out during the test?
A spell is thrown towards Kuro. He dodges it
Kuro: If I get this bell then I'll have 4 bells, one short of Kazuo but it'll do. (rushes in towards the enemy)
Kuro is walking around the arena holding 4 bells in his hand
Kuro: That's four bells already and there should be less than 20 students remaining by now. Well, I guess I don't have to worry anymore.
Another spell is thrown towards Kuro, but he dodges it effortlessly.
Kuro: That was such a sloppy spell
Kuro notices a girl hiding behind the building seemingly looking scared. He rushes in quickly behind the girl
??? : NO PLEASE DON'T! I promise I won't try to attack you!
Kuro: Huh? Why are you so scared?
???: It's it's it's just that I can't fight, I was hoping that you would have your guard down.
Kuro: I never let my guard down, you said you can't fight right? So are you a healer?
???: Yes yes! I see that you're a bit wounded, let me heal you. Healing Water Magic: Bubble healing.
She heals Kuro
Kuro: You healed me, I don't feel the pain or out of breath. Thanks
???: My pleasure
Kuro: Wait did you just heal me to get those extra points? The school mentioned something about supports who heal others gets extra points.
???: No no no, I just wanted to heal you because you didn't try to take my bell.
Kuro: Uh huh. So what's your name anyway?
Shina: Oh I'm Shina, Shina Otsuki. What's your name?
Kuro: I'm Kuro Nabi. What class are you in?
Shina: I'm in class B, and you?
Kuro: Class C, class B huh? Alright...
A spell is launched towards Shina. Kuro blocks the attack
Kuro: You okay?
Shina: Yeah thanks
Kuro: Looks like chatting time is over. There's a new enemy.
