"Now that is an interesting turn of events," Zeeb said, nodding slowly. "Quite surprising, but interesting."

Ralph shot him a glare, then looked back at Zephyr, who was staring blankly ahead. He had just told them he marked Selene last night. It was a shock for both his Beta and Gamma.

"You were going to do it anyway," Ralph said, always the calm one. He wanted to make Zephyr feel better, and it was also true.

But even Ralph was unable to deny the fact that he felt was very shocked at Zephyr's announcement.

He had not expected this at all! Not even after last night!

"But the dragon breath made you do it faster," Zeeb said with a shrug.

Ralph turned to him again. Sometimes, Zeeb's bold comments surprised him.
