After meeting proff. Harold i was going back to my dorms then I saw that lonely girl sitting by herself at the park again so I thought I should try to cheer her up.

Aug : " I keep seeing you more often here, is something bothering you? You can share with me if you like.....

Princess Alicia. "

Alicia : " oh it's you, I've told you to call me Alicia sir Augustus."

Aug : " only if you call me Aug. So until it's not something personal or hurtful to recall, if you feel comfortable you can share with me, I mean we're friends right ?."

Alicia : " it's indeed personal but I think I can share with you.

It's my mother, she died an year ago while I was studying abroad. She hid the fact from me that she had a disease and was going to die. She probably thought that if I knew I will not go abroad. I understand her intentions but I cannot accept her not telling her daughter that she was terminally ill. Her death Aug it still haunts me. To think I was happy somewhere, enjoying my life faraway while my mother was fighting for her life here. She was just pretending to smile.....for me, she shouldn't have done so. It's because of me i was a terrible daughter.

No one from Empire contacted me until I arrived home myself because mother had instructed everyone to not disturb my studies. I feel terrible."

Aug : " i know how it feels Alicia trust me. My mother died in my arms. until her last breath she was protecting me. I felt that was my mistake, and began to blame myself. but then i thought what mother would say if she was here, she wouldn't let me think that i am responsible for her death, she loved me , she loved her only son, she wanted me to live a happy life. So I decided to follow her wishes and i am sure your mother would've thought so too.

She never told you because she loved you, probably she was scared to tell you to think how you would react and she just wanted to see you happy in her final days and I know because every mother wishes her child to be happy. So don't cry. It's alright.

( Wipes her tears)

Alicia: " yes i think you're right... And it's getting dark we should get going. And Thank you Aug."

(When I first saw him i thought he will be some guy full of himself because of his special student title but when I got to know him I found that he is very kind soul, he saw me sitting here lonely and came to see if I'm alright and it's not all he went out of his way to help me. Sharing his past must've hurt a lot yet he did for me. He truly is my friend. But for some reason my heart races whenever he is around me...)

Emilia : " ahmmmmm.... You are not ignoring me are you? "

Aug : " no how can you thought so. Are you angry?"

Emilia : "i am not angry, so..... made new girlfriends....? "

Aug : " no, that's not it but why are you suddenly asking me about all this and why are you angry?"

Emilia : " I said i am not angry, so why are all the girls hanging around you lately ??"

Aug : " no, which girls you must be talking about Hayley, she's just a friend."

Emilia : " oh! Is that so then how did crown princess ended up crying on your shoulder? "

Aug : "she is also a friend she was worked up about something and I saw her while passing by that's all."

Emilia : " so it means I got worked up over nothing."

Aug : " say what? "

Emilia : " it's nothing, you know that four days from now academy is going to host three day long cultural festival and the guest of honor will be emperor himself.

Aug : " yes I've heard that "

Emilia : "I am going to perform at the first day to welcome our guests i thought I should invite you too. So will you come to watch me perform?"

Aug : "ofcourse, how can I say no to you. It will be amazing if you're the one doing it, but what are you going to perform exactly, a song or a dance maybe?"

Emilia : " it's a secret, come and see for yourself."
