Damon : " that's all what happened, I got this information from a friend who works at financial division of royal palace. I wasn't sure what am I going to do."

Aug : "Don't you worry everything will be alright. Engagement will take place tomorrow, we have plenty of time.

First of all look for Prince Oliver he might help us if he's still around. But if he is not we have to do it other way."

Damon : "No Oliver left a while ago. How can we do that Aug? We are just two we can't hold against the royal knights."

Aug : " We will not attack head on they will outnumber us and royal knights aren't ordinary soldiers. Ask your friend at royal palace that where exactly in the palace your family is held ? Then we will make a plan around it."

Damon : "it might not be possible for him since he serves in the finance deptt. he is not permitted to roam around palace. Only if we had some other way."

Alicia : " you have."

[ALICIA BARGES IN ALONG WITH HAYLEY AND RONALD]

Aug :" Alicia how long you guys have been.....?"

Hayley : "sorry for eve's dropping on your conversation. we couldn't help but worry for you Aug so we thought of giving you a visit and we heard that you are in the even bigger problem. We are here to help you "

Aug : " but we're up against the emperor himself I can't let you guys involve yourself into this."

Ronald : "c'mon man drop the good guy act and just tell us already what to do, it doesn't matter who we're up against, we are friends afterall."

Alicia : " and he's my dad what will he even do to me? I can't convince him but I can help you."

Aug : " okay but you guys aren't gonna do anything dangerous, if things go south, just run and save yourself. So here's the plan...... Alicia will go to royal palace and give us the directions , Hayley you will be going to the adventurers guild and contact Red and Reneir. take my adventurer I. D. Show this to the guild and they will do as you say.

Ronald, you will be waiting for us outside the palace with a carriage to escape. If we end up taking more time just come back. Me and Damon will be sneaking into the palace. We're doing it tonight. Am I clear."

Damon : "Clear"

Alicia : "yes"

Hayley : "works for me"

Ronald : " only waiting means no fighting you are boring man "

Aug : "so let's head out then."

[AT THE ROYAL PALACE]

Oliver : " but father this is wrong "

Emperor : "you will do as I say, and do you not like that girl?"

Oliver : " that's true but I don't want to force her. "

Emperor : " stupid boy, she's way too good for you, at first I thought to torture her to provoke Vellion's son but when I saw her beautiful performance I thought of making her my daughter - in - law. killing two birds with one stone. So it's happening if you like it or not. And if you refuse I will torture her."

Oliver : " Don't hurt her i will do as you say. It's tomorrow right?"

Emperor : " good for you, in fact what is the reason to wait until tomorrow I will call the guests and preists tonight to bless you and your soon to be wife."

We arrived at the palace gate as planned. Damon and I snuck inside Alicia's carriage since no one would dare to stop royal princess. And once we were inside the palace we came to know that the ceremony is going to take place tonight.

Damon : "judging from incoming guests ceremony will be tonight I think"

Aug : " it works on our favour we can hide among guests and no one would suspect us. Alicia where do you think they'll be hiding Emilia."

Alicia : " I have a pretty good guess but her parents might not be there. Follow me."

We followed Alicia while avoiding guards to the room where Emilia was kept. I opened the door and saw Emilia sitting on a chair besides the open window looking beautiful and her expressions reminded me of the day I first talked to her. She turned back

She was looking very sad. Darkness in her eyes was running deep.

When she realised we were standing there she came running towards me and hugged me very tightly I hugged her back and said.

Aug : "i am sorry, I caused a great trouble to you and also sorry for the other night i.....i........"

Emilia : "you hurt me"

Aug : "yes I did but..."

Emilia : "i wasn't hurt when you turned me down but...."

Aug : "that's the thing I wanted to tell you. ...i ....i.."

[I don't know what I was thinking that time. I was in love with Emilia. I turned her down so that she can be safe but when I heard about her engagement i felt restless, pretty selfish of me but I ......I wanted to tell her all that then i remembered that she won't be safe with me. I would save her today and leave forever. I would go far away where my fate couldn't affect her. Yes that's right it is the right decision.]

Emilia : "You lied...."

Aug : "......."

Emilia : "you lied to me didn't you??? You told me that you do not love me but you are not a good liar. Your eyes told me otherwise, you left me and never looked back that was more than enough to make me believe that you're lying and hiding something.

When I thought why would you lie i realised the reason would probably be me. You think I would get in danger with you. I get that you were thinking about my safety but how could you do something so cruel to me???, so if you were not lying then prove it and say you do not love me "
