"Master, She is the other woman's sister. She came here to represent her." His butler responds.

Eric smirks. "That cheeky woman thinks she can get a taste of me and run. Find her, and bring her here."

"Yes, Master Eric."

When Mina Campbell is cast out of her adoptive parent's home to represent her step sister at a 'checking' ritual, everything becomes blurry and faded, even worse when they turn their backs on her, calling her a whore who's out to ruin their lives.

Eric takes her hand, wrapping it around his elbows in the perfect gentlemanly manner and takes short strides with her beside him just so everyone will see them together.

He leads her gently to the VVIP elevator. A waiting attendant swipes the key card and the doors open immediately.

"Ladies first." He mutters, waving her inside.

Mina steps inside, he also gets inside behind her and taps the floor button.

The attendant outside bows softly as the doors close, but before it finishes closing, she dashes away, her chuckle loud enough for the couple to hear.

"Looks like I am not the only one in a good mood here."

"Welcome to the company. It has been in the family for three generations now but I did not want to be the heir, I did not want to have anything to do with the family business, I wanted to be independent."

Mina glances at his side profile. "Then what happened?"
