Eric smirks. "That cheeky woman thinks she can get a taste of me and run. Find her, and bring her here."

When Mina Campbell is cast out of her adoptive parent's home to represent her step sister at a 'checking' ritual, everything becomes blurry and faded, even worse when they turn their backs on her, calling her a whore who's out to ruin their lives.

Mrs. Daniels practically jump over the strange man's convulsing body to get to her son.

She pulls Gary to herself, giving him what is probably the tightest hug he has had all of his life.

Eric straightens to his feet, watching as the liquid in the IV drip falls to the floor in one drop after the other.

The nurse presses the red button above the bed and some doctors come running…

Not for Gary this time, for the one that has stopped convulsing on the floor.

Eric has no remorse if he dies but it will be a loss because he will not be able to learn anything about who he is and who sent him and for what reasons they targeted him… Gary.

Some of the able bodied male nurses lift him up and have him carried out of the room while one doctor stays behind, the older doctor that Mrs. Daniels is familiar with.

He checks Gary's eye movement and asks some other questions.
