Mina's heart pounded in her chest. She didn't know what he wanted, but she could feel the unpredictability radiating from him, and it terrified her. Her only goal was to survive this, to get out of here and back to Eric. But every passing second with Alan made her realize how dangerous her situation really was.

Alan stopped pacing for a moment and turned to face her, his expression brightening with a sudden idea.

"Would you like to have lunch, Mina?" he asked, his tone unnervingly casual, as if they were old friends.

Mina swallowed hard, her voice barely a whisper. "No."

Alan's smile faltered, but only for a second. He quickly recovered, taking a few steps closer to her. "No lunch? Alright then." He waved his hand dismissively. "How about a movie? We could watch something together. I have a fantastic home theater. Anything you want."

Mina shook her head again, her throat tightening with fear. "No."
