Chapter 11

...

"You know what!"

"Fuck you!"

"I don't feel like dying now after gathering so many lesser souls."

"You damn cow! You may be big, but you're not two!"

"And I'm small! But I'm not half!"

"Come on, you bitch! I'll kill you and make a nice barbecue with your meat!"

Leon shouted as he positioned himself in a defensive posture.

The giant monster, as if understanding the provocation, advanced while screaming loudly, with its mouth wide open as wide as possible, ready to devour Leon.

Leon didn't let himself be shaken and extended his arm that was holding Miasma back and then threw it like a dart into the monster's mouth that tore out its tongue and part of its throat until it disappeared inside the monster.

The monster didn't lose momentum due to the pain and instead advanced even faster in fury.

Leon saw this and realized that he wouldn't be able to escape the attack.

"Now I'm screwed!"

With no other options, Leon stretched his two arms forward in a grabbing position.

Suddenly, as they collided, Leon was dragged across the ground while his hands grabbed the monster's jaw and mandible, which was trying its best to close its mouth and tear Leon's body in half.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!"

"Come on, my little cow, don't be naughty and behave like a good steak!" Leon spoke as they tried to ignore their trembling arms that were losing strength with each passing second.

All time seemed to stop and Leon felt as if he had been in this standoff with the monster for days, in fact it seemed like years, time simply did not pass while he felt the smell of death getting closer and closer...

As he felt the monster's mouth almost closing completely, Leon began to feel his heart racing and the pain in his arms began to disappear, his pupils dilated completely as the simple desire to survive pulsed through his body.

Gathering all his strength, Leon began to slowly open the monster's mouth, which was almost closing.

With this newfound strength, Leon gave an arrogant smile to the monster, who was now looking at him in surprise.

"I'm a ridiculous creature God!..."

BOOM!

Before Leon could continue, a giant fireball suddenly appeared out of nowhere and exploded in his direction, burning and propelling his body and burning a little of the monster's face.

Absolute silence fell over the place, until a loud laugh interrupted it...

"Kuch keh keh kee."

"Really, these days demons aren't even good enough to kill a miserable child!"

Suddenly a figure began to approach, passing by the bull demon, who suddenly threw himself to the ground in agony.

The figure was... A floating head?

Yes, a floating head of a bearded man with wrinkles on his face, a sign of his advanced age. Where his neck should have been, there was only blood that flowed non-stop like a waterfall.

"Stop crying! As a demon, how can you feel so much pain from a simple spell like that?"

The floating head complained furiously, while looking at the demon who showed no signs of listening to him.

The increasingly irritated floating head decided to ignore the demon and approached Leon's corpse that had been pushed away and was still on fire.

"For just a small human, you were quite impressive, your fresh blood will help a lot in my ritual."

"Your death and your blood are the price for disturbing my rest."

"I, the great wizard of the Eastern Shrines, Nas'hrah, the bringer of chaos and..."

Before Nas'hrah could continue, a loud scream interrupted him...

Looking back, Nas'hrah saw the bull demon let out one last scream of pain before he fell silent and remained motionless forever.

"This cannot be possible... YOU FILTHY WORM! HOW DARE YOU DIE AFTER ALL THE WORK I WENT TO SUMMON YOU!"

As Nas'hrah screamed at the now dead demon, he didn't notice the body on the ground get up and walk with unsteady steps towards him...

He only managed to realize that something was wrong when a hand simply grabbed his head from behind and pressed him with incredible force...

"WHO DARES?!?" Nas'hrah screamed indignantly as he was pressed hard and his face was crushed into the ground like flesh.

"You know... It would have been better for you if you had killed me with that blow...." With a hoarse voice, Leon spoke calmly.

"I would have been pissed and would have killed you in the most cruel way possible."

"But you didn't kill me with that blow and now my skin is all charred.... I'm not feeling any pain to tell the truth...."

"YOU FOOLISH LITTLE HUMAN, HOW DARE YOU LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME? I AM A...." Nas'hrah began to speak furiously until he was interrupted.

"Shut up, I'm not done talking!" Leon interrupted him as he pressed his head harder.

"Your worst mistake... You fucking floating head, was leaving my face in this state, my beautiful face, envied even by gods."

"And now, I'm going to make you regret it from the bottom of your soul."

"I, the great wizard of the Eastern Sanctuaries Nas'hrah, the bearer of chaos and an immortal God, how does a miserable human think he's going to do me any harm?"

After Nas'hrah's speech, a small flame began to form in front of Leon, which soon expanded into a large ball of fire that exploded everything around it.

Nas'hrah waited a few moments for Leon's grip to loosen, but all he managed to do was make the grip stronger.

After a few seconds, the flames went out, revealing Leon's completely charred body pressing Nas'hrah with his hand.

Opening his mouth slowly, Leon spoke in a cold, hoarse voice...

"I hope from the bottom of my heart... That you're not lying... Because I'm going to love beating someone immortal forever."

"We'll be together for the rest of eternity, while I beat and torture you in every way possible, until I die of exhaustion or old age..."

"You'll think you're free from me, but that will only be temporary, when I return your torment will continue over and over again."

"You'll beg any higher power you believe in to let you become a mortal again."

"But a little spoiler... That won't do any good and we'll be in this endless cycle forever, until the end of time and beyond."

As he listened to each word this child spoke, to each word this child on the verge of death continued to utter, Nas'hrah felt something new.

In fact, it's not something new, something he'd felt a long time ago, but that he'd forgotten over time.

This child had not told any lies, Nas'hrah would have realized that the moment he tried to lie, all of this.....

This humble human..... This child really intended to do all of this...

Nas'hrah felt a shiver and wanted to run away as far away as possible, but his head was still pressed tightly to the ground.

Before he could think of using any of the many spells he knew, his head began to hurt as Leon's hand squeezed it tightly.

"Wait!...." Nas'hrah couldn't finish his speech before his head was blown apart like a watermelon.

Leon watched as little by little the scattered pieces of Nas'hrah's head began to gather and regenerate.

And then opening his eyes, Nas'hrah could only see a completely charred fist heading towards him and blowing his head off, before he could react....

Good morning, good afternoon and good night!

Some of you may have already noticed, but in case you haven't and think that Leon suddenly got stronger, there's actually a very simple explanation...

Let's say that demon gave Leon a ton of experience to level up a few levels, I won't give away how many levels, but let's just say that now that Bull Demon could have been defeated much more easily.
