Chapter 4

Hearing my words, Serenity's brow twitched, and she spoke with anger.

"Nash, am I giving you too much face? Or did your hospital stay make you stupid?"

"Divorce? What right do you have to divorce me?"

"All these years you've eaten my food and used my things. If you divorce me, what can you do? Go beg on the streets?"

I lifted my head in disbelief, unable to believe what I was hearing.

After college graduation, Serenity didn't want to work a regular job, so we started a business together.

She was a young woman, and I understood her pride. So I let her focus on projects while I handled wining and dining clients.

Hard work pays off. Over the years, our four-person studio grew into a company with hundreds of employees.
