Chapter Fourteen: A Game of Lies
Dorian's POV
I stepped out of the packhouse, inhaling the crisp night air.
For a second a smile placed on my lip as for a moment I knew this was going to be fun.
They were here.
I had expected them.
Keal and Killian.
The bond they shared with Nora had no doubt told them she was still alive. They could probably feel her pain, her fear—her desperation.

I wanted them desperate.
I wanted them to break.
Silverclaw warriors were already stationed at the gates, weapons ready, watching as the twin Alphas approached.
Then I saw them.
They stalked forward like a storm rolling in, their eyes cold, their movements deadly.
Killian's silver gaze burned with barely restrained fury. His wolf paced beneath his skin, eager for blood.
Keal was calmer, controlled—but I wasn't fooled. His fingers twitched at his sides, his shoulders tense. He was just as close to snapping.
