Chapter Nineteen: The Battle for Nora
Keal's POV
I stood at the Silverclaws' gates, my entire body rigid with fury as Dorian stepped outside.
His shirt was half-buttoned, his dark hair disheveled, like I had just interrupted something.
A sick feeling twisted in my gut.
What was he doing?.
And why do I smell her on him..
My wolf snapped, clawing to the surface.
Dorian smirked, adjusting his sleeves. "You have the worst timing, Keal." He chuckled. "I was just about to do something… fun. Let's just say it was something beautiful."
Rage exploded in my chest.
I took a sharp step forward. "Where is she?" I snarled. "Where is Nora?!"
Dorian tilted his head, pretending to think. "Hmmm… I already told you—she isn't here."
Liar.
He was lying.
I felt her.
She was here, somewhere inside that castle.
Her fear was radiating through our bond—weak, but real.
