I peered into the drawer, my eyes falling upon the cherished presents Lucas had gifted me. After a brief moment of reflection, I decided to place them on his bookshelf.
Isabella followed behind me, her steps uncertain, as if she wanted to speak but couldn't find the words.
She looked taken aback when I opened the bookshelf.
"I'm surprised he kept this," she remarked.
She gestured towards a glass container filled with vibrant paper stars, neatly arranged next to his awards.
I lifted the container. "Are you familiar with this?"
Isabella confirmed with a nod. "I crafted it for Lucas as a birthday present in seventh grade."
When I first moved in, I had been intrigued by the colorful vessel.
However, Lucas had been dismissive when I inquired about it, stating, "It's better not to disturb the bookshelf."
So, I had left it alone.
Now, I discovered the container belonged to Isabella.
I set the glass vessel on the table.
In the current light, the container seemed quite ordinary.
