Volume 1 Chapter 21: Culling of Titans Part 1

"We can't keep running, we've got to stand and fight!" Hunter yelled out as the massive pack began to close in on them.

"How, Sugah!? There's too many of 'em!" Dahlia called out in fear.

"We are supposed to be Huntsmen! We fight them, not run! Get into one of the alleys of the ruins! It's time we turn their numbers into a liability!" Sylver ordered.

The other two conscious teens turned to look at each other and nodded before following the wolf Faunus's orders. Turning into some nearby ruins and making their way into an alleyway, they turned to stand and fight as Sylver dropped Wysteria down on the ground. The pack of large wolf Grimm tried to clamor into the alleyway only to be bottlenecked in three by three, snarling in fury. In the back, the largest member of the pack, twice as big as the others, seemingly growled an order at half of the pack.

That half of the pack seemingly went off somewhere as the other half tried to make their way into the alleyway. Doing a headcount as the remaining half closed in, Dahlia tried to stay calm.

"Okay! It's twelve against three, y'all! Much better odds now!" She called out to the others.

"It split the pack! They will come from the other side!" Sylver yelled. "Don't get cocky!"

"It's the big one! That's the alpha of the pack!" Hunter called out.

"I call dibs! You three take the others!" Sylver called out as he began glowing with a flame-like silver aura.

"What was that about bein' cocky!?" Dahlia yelled out in annoyance.

"And what do you mean three!? The purple girl's still out cold!" Hunter called in greater annoyance.

"Just trust me! Keep Wysteria safe for about two minutes and the odds will start to even out more!" Sylver called out, making a running leap and jumping from wall to wall to leap over the pack to face the largest Lobo alone.

The pack leader seemingly growled an order to the second largest member of the pack before turning to face the wolf Faunus. The two eyed each other, seemingly sizing each other up as they began circling each other like dueling lions. Trying to gauge their opponent's strengths and look for any openings.

Meanwhile, back with Hunter and Daliah, the rest of the pack had indeed circled around to the other end of the alleyway. The two were each taking three Lobos at a time, trying to fight off the wolf Grimm while they followed Sylver's order and protected Wysteria for the next couple of minutes. Even if they did not understand how she was going to be of any help fast asleep.

"You sure Sylver knows what he's doing, Dahl!?" Hunter asked, punching a Lobo across the jaw before using it as a blunt weapon to smash another one.

"Do any of us at this point know what we're doin'?" She asked her partner.

"Fair point!" Hunter replied as he ripped the jaw off another Lobo before dropping it and kicking another one back.

It was at that moment that they heard a deep breath be taken between them. Looking back for a moment, much to their disbelief, they saw Wysteria rise to her feet with her eyes still shut. Crossing her arms over her chest, she tightly clenched her fists as two sets of claws popped out of the backhand of each gauntlet. Then, faster than the two could react, the still unconscious girl rushed into a Lobo that was about to attack Dahlia with her back turned, easily stabbing into the Lobo before ripping it in half.

"Did that just happen? Or is my lack of breakfast playing tricks on me…" Hunter said in stunned disbelief.

"No, Sugah… that actually happened…" Dahlia replied in equal disbelief.

"You two take that half… this half is mine…" The unconscious Wysteria replied confidently.

"You heard her, blondie. Let the crazy get eaten alive." Hunter said, turning on his heels to face the rest of the pack.

"Be careful, hon." Dahlia told Wysteria before standing with her partner, back-to-back with the sleep fighter.

As three Lobos charged at the sleeping flower girl, she rushed in faster than they could track. As she landed behind him, the three wolf Grimm found themselves shredded to pieces before another thought could pass through their heads. Three more tried to rush at her only for her to easily dodge their lunges and cut them into ribbons in an elegant flurry of slashing gauntlet claws. Slicing the head off a lone one before it could react, she then dashed through the last approaching three and shredded them to pieces in an instant. Her job complete, the purple flower child then unclenched her fists to retract her claws before falling back over, snoozing away.

"Holy shit!" Hunter yelled in disbelief as he punched down on a wolf Grimm's skull to cave it in and kill it.

"Focus!" Dahlia yelled, kicking one Lobo into another and causing a small pile up for the pack.

"Right!" Hunter called out, popping out two retractable crossbows and firing a barrage of Dust bolts into the pile that incinerated the four Lobos in it in an explosion of Lightning Dust.

Taking a deep breath, Dahlia then began to rotate her right arm. Her Aura slowly began to form and swirl around it, following the motion. This had the unintended effect of the Lobo in front of her following the swirling motion, as if fascinated by what was going on. As she sped up this motion, this aura solidified into a drill-like shape. Then with a sudden, fast thrust, this drill went straight into the distracted Lobo's head. The sudden, powerful strike to its head immediately turned the creature into a small cloud of black smoke.

Surprised, but quickly recovering, the remaining three wolf Grimm snarled as they tried to attack the two from blind spots. Making a second Aura drill on her other arm so that she had two, Dahlia pierced through two of the lunging Lobos chests, boring massive hooves through them and killing them instantly. As the final Lobo tried to blindside her, a crossbow bolt struck it in the face before exploding in a blast of fire, blowing off its head. Turning back, Dahlia looked at her partner with a thankful smile.

"Thank yah kindly, partner." Dahlia said with a smile.

"Anytime, Dahl. Now… what the fuck was that with Wysteria?" Hunter asked in disbelief as the two looked at the sleeping girl.

"Just let the baby girl sleep. She's earned it." Dahlia answered, waving off his concern.

Meanwhile, the battle between Sylver and the Rey Lobo was underway. The two charged at each other and clashed, tearing into each other with a ferocity that only dueling predators fighting over the same prey could manage. The massive wolf Grimm bit and slashed at the wolf Faunus, trying to get at his throat. However, the wolf tailed boy held it at bay before kicking it back.

Putting his fists up in a stance, the wolf tailed Faunus rushed in and unleashed a barrage of hits into the Rey Lobo. While the hits rocked the large wolf Grimm, it quickly recovered and backed up, circling around him to try to find an opening. Seeing one, it lunged at him from his unprotected back, forcing him to dodge. Trying the same tactic again, it lunged at him one more time only to be dodged again and get its tail grabbed. Spinning, Sylver threw it into a nearby wall, cracking the wall on contact.

Rushing in, the Faunus unleashed a barrage of increasingly fast and strong hits on the king wolf. Each blow smashed it into the wall, cracking it with greater force with each hit. Finally, he rushed over to one edge of the wall and punched bits and pieces out of it. Grabbing the damaged building, he pulled with all his might and brought it crashing down onto the Rey Lobo. Panting heavily with his hands on his knees, he waited to see if the Rey Lobo got back up. When a piece of rubble fell from atop the pile with no moment in sight, Sylver sighed in relief as he dropped down to the ground on his butt and tried to catch his breath.

"Who's the top wolf now, you son of a bitch…?" Sylver panted out slowly.

Meanwhile: With Sapphire, Fuchsia, Lance, and Torrent

"Alright, mister 'I-want-water'! Where is it!?" Sapphire yelled out to her partner as they tried to shoot and attack it while they ran, only for their attacks to harmlessly bounce off its armor.

"There!" Torrent called out, pointing out a nearby body of water.

"Alright! Torrent, Fuchsia! Distract it and run interference! Sapphire, wait for my signal for your opening!" Lance yelled.

"Alright, get its attention you two! Lance, I take it you got a plan?" Sapphire said, running alongside him.

"I just need to grab onto two of its claws long enough for my Semblance to go to work! If my theory's right, then that should allow me to start punching holes in its armor!" Lance called out.

"A theory!? We're throwing ourselves to our potential deaths against this thing over a fucking theory!?" Fuchsia called out in anger at her partner.

"Just trust me!" Lance called out, backing up to watch for an opening.

"You heard the man! Get distracting!" Sapphire called out as she manifested Aura chains while Torrent drew his hook swords.

"Fine! But let it be known that I hate this plan!" Fuchsia shot back as she drew her clawed grapple whips.

Slashing with his hook swords, Torrent sent waves of Fire Dust at the lion Grimm to get its attention. As it chased him near the water, rushed onto the water, and began seemingly skating, gliding along its surface as he kept moving. Unleashing slash waves of Dust to keep it occupied, Torrent tried to frustrate the Leo while Fuchsia used her clawed whips to rip out chunks of flesh from the unarmored parts of its body. Snarling in fury, the Leo slammed its paws down into the water, almost throwing off Torrent's rhythm and trying to pounce on him. The boy barely evaded it as he kept hitting it with Dust slashes while Fuchsia kept ripping out chunks of Grimm flesh from the small gaps in the armor, their efforts doing little more than angering it.

Seeing his opening, Lance rushed in and slid underneath the Armored Leo's underbelly. Finding two large claws on its back feet that he could use for his purposes, he grabbed onto them and began activating his Semblance. Soon his flesh and muscles began turning the shining, pale moon white color of the Leo's razor-sharp claws. As it tried to swat and slash at his comrades with its front paws, its frustration and anger left it oblivious to what Lance was doing underneath it.

Soon armored up, Lance looked at his compatriots. "Now!" He called out, making a spearhead with his left hand and thrusting at a spot on the underbelly where the armor was thinner.

To everyone's surprise, the lion Grimm roared in pain as the spearhead thrust punched through its underbelly armor like it was made of paper, piercing the Grimm flesh beneath. Ripping his hand out from its underbelly, Lance began rushing and sliding underneath it as he unleashed a barrage of spearhead thrusts and knife hand chops into its underbelly that pierced and slashed its armor. Quickly recovering from their shock before the Leo could, Fuchsia and Torrent went back to trying to distract it to keep it from trying to kill Lance while the beast roared in pain from the assault on its weaker belly armor. Finally, having done enough damage, the bull knight slid out from beneath it as Sapphire saw her opening.

Taking her opening, Sapphire poured a massive amount of Aura as she could into the watery ground beneath the Leo to make a floor made of Aura. Manipulating the Aura beneath it, she caused a veritable forest of blades to pop out beneath the armored lion Grimm like daisies. The blades pierced through its weakened underbelly armor in multiple places, stabbing deep into its Grimm flesh beneath as the wolf princess tried to immobilize it. However, the Armored Leo began trying to move to break free, forcing Sapphire to keep pumping Aura into the blades to keep it immobile as she visibly struggled under the strain.

Seeing an opening of her own, Fuchsia shot one of her clawed grapple whips into the squirming beast's eye, gouging out its eyeball. The beast roared loudly in pain as Torrent unleashed twin hooked slashes of Lightning Dust into its mouth that exploded inside it, finishing it off. The four panted tiredly as the lion Grimm collapsed into the water dead and began to disappear.

Meanwhile: With Honey, Oren, Mido, and Emi

While the young prospective huntsmen kept themselves ahead of the Charybdis, its long stride and powerful legs meant it was closer than anyone would like. Even maneuvering inside the ruins did not do much to slow it down, as it used its claws to dig into the hardened stone and earth to help turn its bulk faster. However, as they were running down a long furrow way, they noticed where they were running. Towards a small mountain lake.

"It's corralling us towards the water!" Honey yelled out. "What do we do!?"

"We have to stop it from reaching that water! It'll have the advantage there!" Mido yelled out.

"How do we stop it!?" Oren asked in disbelief.

"Simple! We stand and fight!" Mido replied.

"... Are you nuts!?" Emi asked in disbelief.

However, she got her answer when Mido stopped in his tracks and turned to face the reptilian horror. Seeing no other choice, the other three stopped in their tracks and turned to stand with their green compatriot. Seeing them stop running, the Charybdis slowed its stride and stalked up to them, its eyes glowing menacingly as it flicked its tongue out. As if smelling and tasting their fear.

"Mido, distract it! I have a plan! Does anyone here have a Semblance that can destroy Grimm armor?" Honey called out.

"Mine can! But I need to make contact with all five fingers on one of my hands to do it!" Emi called out.

"Perfect! Oren, disorient it! Make some kind of loud noise!" Honey called out with a grin as she tossed him some small speakers and an earpiece from her pockets.

"The things I do to live…" Oren muttered, before getting to work.

Rushing around it, Oren began placing the speakers in a circle around the Charybdis as he avoided spine shots from it. Rushing in with his wind aura activated to magnify his speed, Mido began unleashing barrages of punches and kicks to keep its attention on him. However, this only proceeded to anger the reptilian monstrosity as it let out a hissing roar and tried to stomp on him. Collecting some scrap metal and spare parts she kept in her pockets; Honey laid it down on the ground as she closed her eyes and tried to focus.

The scrap metal and spare parts began slowly shifting and changing as they began to vaguely take the shape of some kind of weapon. Meanwhile, Mido began kicking at the beast from a distance to unleash slashes of wind from his kicks at the reptilian abomination. The blades of wind cut into its body, but it shrugged them off as it let out a hissing roar and launched spines at the fast-moving green pole. Finally, with all the speakers in position, Oren turned them on full blast and took a deep breath.

"Time to turn up the noise!!!!" Oren yelled into the microphone, sending a loud, blaring, inhuman noise enhanced by the speakers roaring into the Charybdis.

What happened was a remarkable sight. The behemoth first tried to shake it off, but as Oren screamed and yelled even louder and more horrid noises into the mic, it forced the beast to take a step back. From its hindquarters sprouted stout, thick hind limbs, and using its tail it lifted its heavy front half into the air, letting loose a piercing roar to try and cancel out the speakers' noise. However, this left it open for the next stage of Honey's plan.

Hefting her haphazardly made weapon, a makeshift spear, she took aim and threw it with all her might at the beast's underbelly. Mido, seeing what she was doing, used wind blade kicks to increase the force behind the throw as the head of the spear plunged deep into the Charybdis' thick hide. Hissing in agony, it tried to shake the spear out as Mido leapt up at it and grabbed onto the haft. Pulling down with all his might, this allowed Mido to slowly gut the reptilian horror as the spear tore its belly open.

The Charybdis, weakened but not slain, tried to get up. However, what happened next shocked the rest of our present heroes. Mido pointed both of his open hands at the beast as a veritable lightning storm of dark green electricity erupted from his fingertips and palms. The beast shrieked in agony as it was fried from the inside out by the powerful lightning blast. Soon, the built-up power became too much as the beast's body exploded, leaving Mido panting from the exertion.

"The fuck was that?" Oren asked as the sound stage began to crumble back into spare parts.

"Me? What about you? What the fuck was that noise?" Mido asked, subtly deflecting the question.

"That was my Semblance! What's wrong with it? It saved our hides!" Oren said defensively.

"Focus, people! We need to get out of here before something else tries to kill us!" Honey snapped out.

As the bickering commenced, no one noticed as Oren's soundwaves echoed through the ruins down into the canyons and ravines down below. At the bottom of these dark, deep depths, inside a low dry cave, a rumbling growl began to emanate. The ground began to shift and quake, as the cave's owner began to stir, the cave itself and the outside beginning to slowly heat up a bit before cooling.

With Ozpin and Glynda

"Ozpin… this is unprecedented…" Glynda told him, staring in disbelief at what they just witnessed on one of the screens.

"I know…" Ozpin said, surprisingly subdued for the situation.

"Another one of the Knights… this time a Knight of Darkness… is already awakened…" Glynda uttered in shock.

Meanwhile: With Zhan and Azura

"... And that's how my cousin broke a knight's sword." Zhan said as he walked out of the forest.

"Wow. Did the knight get angry at his blade being ruined?" Azura asked his partner as they walked into the clearing.

"Oh absolutely. But my grandfather saved his ass. By the time he was done with that blade, it was better than when it was first forged." Zhan said with a smile beaming with pride.

Azura smiled upon hearing that. "Very impressive. Perhaps your family could teach my clan's blacksmiths a thing or two." He replied in somewhat of an offer.

"With all due respect, I wouldn't try that. Smiths are competitive and secretive lots. It'd be like your dojo swapping ancient secrets with a potential rival." Zhan explained.

Azura nodded in understanding. "Fair enough. Oh! I think I can see the temple! If you can… call that ruin a temple…" He said with a bit of excitement, catching sight of the remains of the temple in the distance.

"Looks like some people had to leave in a hurry. Look at the pieces on the board." Zhan continued as they got a bit closer.

Azura nodded as they made it inside the remains of the temple. "This damage looks fresh. The soil and grass have been recently disturbed and there are no signs of erosion where the remaining walls have been damaged." He noted with a contemplative look on his face.

"It didn't even really hurt the temple that bad. It's almost like whatever was here sidestepped it. What kind of Grimm wouldn't just barrel its way through this?" Zhan asked.

Looking at a familiar set of claw marks in the soil, Azura knelt to inspect them and paled a bit. "I… think I know. Let us just hope that whoever it was chasing managed to deal with it." He told his partner.

"Look alive, we got fellow Hunters." Zhan said, pointing to a rustling in the undergrowth.

To Azura's surprise, it was a familiar face. From the dark forest came the golden form of Yang Xiao Long. The mere sight of her put a big smile on his face as Blake followed. Zhan noticed this and smiled.

"So, the blonde's your girlfriend, partner?" Zhan asked cheekily.

Azura blushed and elbowed Zhan in the ribs. "Your silence would be greatly appreciated." He told his partner in an embarrassed tone.

"Azu? Didn't expect to run into you here." Yang said in a bit of surprise.

"Come on, Yang. Introduce me to your boyfriend." Blake playfully told her blonde partner.

"You already met him, Smut Ninja!" Yang called out, blushing in embarrassment.

"Yang, Lady Belladonna, this is Zhan Vulkan. My partner for the next four years." Azura told the girls, blushing in embarrassment at Blake's words.

"Sup?" Zhan asked, crossing his arms.

"What is it with boys at this school and being so damn tall…"? Yang asked in disbelief at Zhan being a bit taller than Azura.

"When you work in the forge your whole life, you either get big and strong or break." Zhan explained simply.

"That explains you. What's everyone else's excuse?" Yang replied cheekily before walking up to Azura and giving him a tight and meaningful hug, causing Azura's face to light up crimson like a red Christmas tree light.

"YEEEHAAAAAW!!!" Rang out as Nora rode in on an Alpha Beowulf, sending it headfirst into the nearest rockface, before it collapsed to the ground and faded into black smoke as Nora landed on the ground. "Aww, I think I broke it. Oh well. There's more where that came from."

"... Di… did she just ride in on an Alpha Beowolf?" Blake asked in sheer disbelief.

"I… think she did…" Azura replied in wide eyed shock.

"I give an eight for the presentation. I don't know about that landing." Zhan said with a smirk.

"I give the landing a two." Yang replied with a smile as she slowly broke her hug with Azura.

"Nora… don't… run off… like that…" Came a panting Ren, stopping to put his hands on his knees as he caught his breath. His clothes were soaked with sweat and starting to cling to his body due to the running he had to do to keep up.

"Come on, Ren! Live a little! Enjoy the fun!" Nora said with a smile before noting the relics. "Oooooh!"

"What part of living involves doing everything you can to die…" Ren asked, before noticing Nora wasn't next to him.

Rushing up to a Rook piece, Nora smiled before taking it in her hands. "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" She cheered with joy.

"NORA!" Ren called out.

"What? I'm simply stating the truth, Ren?" Nora asked, confused.

"Come here now, please." Ren told his childhood friend in mild, barely noticeable annoyance.

"Coming, Ren!" She called out to the green-clad boy.

In the same blink and you will miss it flash; Nora was up next to Ren. However, to everyone's shock, Nora immediately wrapped him up in a crushing bear hug and began to snuggle him a bit.

"Nora… Crushing… Need… Air…." Ren groaned out.

"Sorry, Ren." Nora replied, letting her friend go to allow him to breathe.

"BAAAAANZAAAAAAAAAAAI!" Ruby's voice called out as everyone looked up.

Everyone looked up, in shock, to see a falling Ruby. This turned to horror for Yang and Azura as the blue Bushi leapt into action.

"I have her! I have her!" He called out as he rushed out, using Ruby's shadow to try to judge where she would land.

Once he was dead center in position, he leapt up with his arms out. Catching Ruby in his arms, Azura landed on the ground feet first in a crash that cratered and cracked the ground a bit while leaving Ruby and him relatively unharmed. Much to the disbelief of his partner, who stared in shock at the show of speed and strength.

"Still got her…" Azura said through gritted teeth.

"Oh. Hi, Azura. What are you doing here?" Ruby asked, not entirely grasping what fulling happened.

"Completing the task for the test. Why did you fall out of the sky?" The azure samurai replied, genuinely confused as he set Ruby on her feet.

"So, you remember Weiss Schnee from when I ran into her yesterday?" Ruby asked.

"... Yes. Why?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.

"She's my partner." Ruby explained.

"And I'm none too pleased about it!!!" Weiss's voice rang out as Weiss stormed out of the forest. "Because of you, I had to use half of my Dust rounds that I allocated for the test! On top of nearly getting split in half!"

"I said I was sorry, Weiss! I thought hitching a ride on a Nevermore would help us find the temple faster!" Ruby replied apologetically.

"This is going to be an interesting four years." Yang whispered to Zhan.

"So, when we get back, want to stock up on popcorn? I have a feeling we might need it." Zhan asked Yang.

"Hey, Big Boy! I like your new friend!" Yang called out with a teasing smile.

"Don't worry boss, I ain't taking your girl!" Zhan teasingly added.

"Your silence would be most greatly appreciated, Zhan!" Azura called out, blushing red as Yang giggled.

"Well, I greatly appreciate his thoughtful commentary." Yang said with a smirk.

"Finally, I got someone in my corner." Zhan said, and soon Yang and Zhan fist bumped.

"INCOMIIIIIIIIIING!" Jaune's voice called out from above.

"I'm not catching that one." Azura said with a grumble.

As the tall blonde rocketed towards the ground at unhealthy speeds, as if by reflex, he sent a great gust of wind at the ground from his hands. Said wind kicked up dust and leaves, and tugged hard at the girls' combat skirts, forcing them to grab hold of them. The guys blushed and looked away, not wanting any trouble from the girls in an embarrassing moment as Yang quickly covered Azura's eyes. This, however, did much to blunt the force of the fall to a minor tumble.

"Whoa! How the hell did I do that…?" Jaune asked in disbelief.

"Whatever it was, you blonde ruffian. Don't ever do that again! You nearly ripped off my combat skirt!" Weiss yelled at him indignantly.

"Thank you! Finally, someone calls them what they are!" Ruby yelled.

"Amen to that, sisters!" Nora called out in response.

"Sorry…" Jaune nervously answered.

"Don't yell at my teammate over saving his own life!" Pyrrha yelled, coming out of the forest with a huff.

"Thanks, Pyrrha. Wait… where's the giant scorpion thing that was chasing us?" Jaune asked in concern.

"So let me get this straight. Ruby and Weiss lost a Nevermore big enough to carry people… And you two lost a giant Death Stalker?" Blake asked in disbelief.

A shrieking caw overhead alerted them to something overhead. "Not for long, apparently…" Ren replied, looking up at the sky to see the Nevermore circling overhead.

As Jaune got up, Pyrrha sensed something as she dived to the ground with him, narrowly avoiding a large stinger. The trees soon were felled with simple motions of the monstrous arachnid's claws, crushed or smashed aside. This forced everyone into their fight or flight instincts, soon grabbing their weapons. At that, however, they heard a loud, blood curdling cry coming from the forest. Everyone jumped to their attention as Rena and Ember rushed out, nearly collapsing as they made it to the group, not before something flew past the Nevermore. To everyone's shock, it was a massive Griffon as it stared down at what looked like lovely morsels to get, and other Grimm competitors to bully away.

"Grab the Relics and let's get out of here!" Ruby yelled, pointing to the temple.

"No way! I am not running!" Azura told them, looking back at his friend before turning to face the Grimm with fearful determination.

"They are going to cut us down in this position! If we get into the ruins, we at least have a chance!" Ruby yelled at her friend, trying to make him see sense.

Azura's jaw set in frustration at that. "Sōtora Azura doesn't run from a fight, Ruby!" He told her, his frustration and a bit of anger clearly leaking out as he gripped the hilt and sheath of his ōdachi to draw it, his hands trembling as they gripped the samurai great sword.

"Wasn't it your ancestor who coined the phrase 'discretion is the greater part of valor'?" Jaune asked fearfully, keeping his shield between him and the titanic Grimm as they began closing in.

His teeth set in frustration; the azure samurai finally relented. "Alright, fine! Let us get moving before it is too late!" Azura called out as he, Yang, Rena, Ruby, and Jaune rushed up to grab Relics.

The Relics collected, the pairs rushed out of the temple and up higher into the mountains. Seeing a large set of ruins in the distance, they all immediately knew that it would be the best place to handle these titans. Rushing up the well-trodden trail to the ruins, the aerial Grimm circled above, too large to dive into the gully. The Death Stalker however trundled along relentlessly, a warning for if they went too slow. However, when they arrived, their hopes were dashed.

"This isn't our salvation…" Jaune said as he looked around.

"This is a trap." Ruby grimly answered.

"If running is not going to help us… then we must hold our ground and fight… I am now starting to see why discretion is the greater part of valor." Azura solemnly finished and turned to see the three terrible titans bearing down on them.

To Be Continued…
