A Familiar Ceiling

Lee opened her eyes, and this was the first thing she said.

The mattress is soft… but it's not mine.

Alright, think. What's the last thing I remember?

Hmm… I took over Unit-1's body to thaw the ice cube, then—blah blah—escaped… (let's just let Lihua take the blame).

Lee turned her head to the right. A window, its curtains drawn, let slivers of morning light seep through.

She turned to the left—Kevin...

Ah, Kevin…

Lee gazed at him, fast asleep, sprawled out messily, on his pajamas covered in a bear pattern.

With a quiet sigh, she pulled the blanket off her and got out of bed.

Shffft

Lee stopped in front of a mirror, staring at her own reflection.

Lee turned on the faucet, letting the cold water run over her hands before splashing it onto her face. The chill sent a small jolt through her, but it did little to shake off the strange sense of dissonance settling in her mind.

She looked up.

Her reflection stared back.

Same face… yet unfamiliar.

Silver-white hair, sky-blue eyes, European features with a faint trace of something Asian.

Lee frowned. She leaned in closer, tilting her head, eyes narrowing in suspicion.

She reached up, pulling at her own cheeks, then pressing a finger against her temple as if that would somehow fix things. Nothing. No glitching, no sudden system notification, no forced wake-up call.

Her hands dropped to her sides.

A weak body… like some ordinary woman… this…

She clenched and unclenched her fists, testing the sensation. No power surging through her veins, no overwhelming presence pressing against the edges of her consciousness.

Is this some kind of main-body switch? A system event? Infinite Tsukuyomi? An illusion from the Herrscher of Sentience? But I am the Herrscher of Sentience! That kid? No way, I don't buy it.

Silence. Only the steady drip of water from the faucet filled the space.

Lee exhaled sharply, rubbing her temples.

What else? Ah.

Maybe Kevin actually really won in the real world…he not really doing Kyoka Suigetsu and from start of fight I'm stuck in an illusion right?

She slapped her own cheek. Hard.

Yeah, still here.

Main body not responding yet and no system panel... maybe i really stranded in some weird world.

Lee groaned. "Oh, come on."

...

Whatever the reason she was here, Lee had decided—she didn't care anymore.

If stuck then stuck, what? Search how get out? Look she now normal person, all experience she have can't even win fight with American swords(shot)manship style.

And whatever "thing" can interrupting system is, she don't want to deal with it.

that's the main body's problem, not her.

She glanced at the sink. Two toothbrushes, one tube of toothpaste.

Alright, pick one and go with it.

She grabbed the one that felt like it belonged to her and started brushing.

Then, a shift.

Warmth.

A presence behind her, closing in.

Lee's fingers tightened around the toothbrush as she saw it in the mirror—Kevin, awake, standing close. Too close.

A hand at her waist. Not quite holding her, just there. Testing.

The touch was slow, deliberate. A game, one he expected her to play along with.

Lee paused mid-brush.

"Kevin."

He met her gaze in the mirror, unreadable but intent.

"Eh, Lee?"

His hesitation was brief, like a predator uncertain if its prey had just grown fangs.

"I'm not in the mood right now."

Her voice was calm, firm, leaving no room for negotiation.

And just like that, he backed off.

It wasn't dramatic, but it was definite—the warmth disappeared, and the weight of his presence lessened.

Golden (White) retriever, tail down.

Lee exhaled through her nose and resumed brushing her teeth.

...

She finished brushing, rinsed her mouth, wiping her face with a towel.

.… I was right.

This wasn't just some random world. It was that kind of world.

That kind of world...

Oh, for the love of—did I get transmigrated into some low-budget fanfic written by ship-crazed fans?!

She had already noticed it!—the way her... underwear felt different.

Soft. Thin. The kind that wasn't meant for comfort but for something else entirely.

Lee wasn't stupid. She felt it. Even if she was in an ordinary human body now, her instincts were still sharp as a blade.

Right now, she was wearing something innocent—a soft, oversized pajama top with a pastel bear print, loose shorts that barely brushed mid-thigh. Cute. Harmless.

But underneath… something designed to be seen.

Hehe kind of innocent angel & xxx devil play huh!

She almost scoffed.

Kevin had tried something just now. Just subtly enough that if she hadn't caught on, if she hadn't stopped him—

She ran a hand through her hair, sighing.

I'm gonna get eaten.

This is just a short text sample that i write on my break. My writing technique is very different from the original author's, so it'll take some time to adapt (you can from check other side story). I also haven't added a narrator for additional context, and Lee's inner thoughts are still lacking.

I'm struggling with the plot because Lee, as a character, doesn't have enough motivation to get freaky. So I figured—maybe they should just be married from the start.

Honestly, I have a script that's pure meat, but there's no plot. Even this version has already been toned down.

So, on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate it? From style and the suggestive. I need feedback.
