The Cosmos in Change

...

3rd Pov

The Era of Gods began with a boom, multiple Gods from all the Cosmos born from the laws of Universe encountered Gaea and what followed was them fucking like rabbits and creating different lineages of Gods.

One such Divine Lineage was Mesopotamian Gods, Gaea created them asexually with the birth of the twin Gods An and Ki who would then come to become the Divine King and Queen of their Pantheon.

Currently the most advanced city on the Earth was the Uruk, and humans have just started farming. To Gods, Earth was such a amusing sandbox, that all of the occupied a part of the world for themselves.

Ancient Greece and parts of surrounding Europe was occupied by Uranus who relished in the feeling of being the Sky Father.

There were reasons why Gods loved humans, though not the way one would expect. Firstly, humans were made in the image of Gods, which meant they had a huge potential.

Secondly human males and females were handsome and beautiful, a Gods want some pleasure? He can just go and rape some human females, while they will serve him with their all.

Who wouldn't like being surrounded by such people, who would please their vanity and lust?

Thus, many Gods on the West became degenerates, however a few pantheons treated humans better than the others.

To them humans were like their own children, however they couldn't get rid of the innate superiority they had, and while they didn't ruin a random mortal's life for no reason, they expected prayers and devotion from them.

The Devas led by their God King Indra, took shelter under the Trimurti, which was a smart move and instantly made them one of the strongest Pantheons after Greeks.

However, the three Elder Gods knew the potential of humanity more than their other brethren so they laid some rules for how Divine should act towards mortals.

Gods also started giving Minor Divine blessings towards the mortals they liked, to them Divine blessing was another authority that they could exercise, another power to cement their control over the human world.

So, humanity was reduced to nothing more than pets, some treated better and some treated worse. However, it was going to change for better, starting with Mesopotamia.

...

The Mesopotamian Gods were quick to realize the faults of humanity, one decade ago they pray to you, and in another decade, they started cursing to you for the things they even haven't done.

Normally they would punish humanity, like Enki would drown them by flooding them, inspired from Yahweh who drowned most of humanity not much long ago, wiping most of the Genesis humans.

In the end getting tired of punishing them over and over again, Gods decided to do something about it.

They did a meeting like the civilized people they were, and, in the end, Enlil said, "Why not create a demi-god who can act as a link between humanity and us?"

The Gods instantly agreed upon it, after all keeping humanity in check was so bothersome that they decided to create someone else to do them job.

The plan was simple, a demi-god will be creating from the union of divine and man who would rule the Ancient Mesopotamia and act a link between the Gods and humans.

However they soon encountered a problem, no God was willing to impregnate a mortal human, to them it was beneath them.

As for being impregnated by a human? Goddesses were disgusted at the very notion of it.

Just they were wondering if they should go to Trimurti and ask for a Demi-God child from Brahma, when Goddess Ninsun volunteered.

The King of Uruk was a disciple of Agamotto, who was the strongest magician in the Universe and a Primordial God himself.

He was also one of the many husbands of Goddess Gaea, and thus the mortal that caught his eye was naturally worthy of being a Goddess' husband.

Ninsun was already in love with the man, thus after their marriage and weeks of copulation, their love yielded a fruit.

After nine months of pregnancy, the first Demi-God graced the Earth, born with two-thirds god and one-third man, except for his mortality with extended lifespan and lacking any Divinity he was pretty much a God.

Someone fit for the role the God decided for him.

Wedge of the Heavens, they called him.

Upon his birth, Gods from various Pantheons came to see the novelty that that new Demi-God was, and what it meant for the Pantheons as whole.

...

In the Heavens of Mesopotamian, Anu one could see Goddess Ninsun holding her child with joy on her face.

Her husband Lugalbanda looked at his son with a pride, as a powerful magician he could slay Gods, however he lacked the extended lifespan and innate power of his child, who was two-thirds Gods.

That's why having a Goddess as a Wife and a demi-god as his child, he had pretty much accomplished everything he wanted in his life.

Agamotto too was present and looked at the couple happily, he was waiting for the others to join this occasion.

Soon the Skies darkened, and thunder roared as the Deva King Indra made an entry with some Hindu Gods.

Then the Sky of Heaven itself split apart as Uranus descended down, followed by other Titans.

Then came Buri the Godfather of the Norse Pantheon, followed by some Norse Gods.

One by one the Gods from various Pantheons came and gazed upon the first Demi-God to be born, Gilgamesh.

Meanwhile Gods who had the same Divinity, formed groups and chatted with each other.

The Cyclopes, the Son of Uranus and Gaea, talked with the Hindu Crafting God Vishvakarma, Ptah the Egyptian Crafting God, about the topic on how to create Spaceships that could travel through Cosmos at super-light speed.

Once the Gods have gathered, Anu the Godfather of Mesopotamian mythology made a speech.

"I thank all the God-fathers who visited our Celebration, even if our origins differ you all have shown we all are connected with each other!" Anu smiled.

They were indeed connected to each other, in some way they were either asexually Gaea's child, or sexually reproduced Gaea's child or grandchild.

"I am the God of Crafting, Vishvakarma and as Trimurti instructed us, I have brought a present for the child" his words instantly piqued everyone's interest.

"Vimana, it is spaceship that can travel at the speed of thought, capable of super-light speed travel" said the God of Crafting presenting the Gift.

Not to be outdone, the other crafting Gods too presented gifts one by one, they didn't have made any preparations for a special gift, so they just gave away thousands of weapons, equipment's, items.

Ptah was the most generous of all, gifting Hundred Divine Weapons that could slay Gods, and even kill High-Gods, that made many gods green with envy.

Goddess Ninsun was naturally very happy with the gifts, even if her son was a demi-god, he was still her flesh and blood and she wanted best for him.

With these divine weapons, her son could solidify his rule over Ancient Mesoptomia in future, even Gods would have to think twice before crossing him.

Meanwhile other Gods were embarrassed, while the Gods of Crafting and Blacksmith showered Gilgamesh with gifts, they were empty-handed.

However, their pride would not let them to be outdone, so Kuber, the God of Wealth stopped forward.

"I have no weapons, or equipment's to give, however as a King he will naturally need wealth. I give him one trillion gold coins" the moment Kuber said the amount, even Gods had to gasp.

"I too have gifts to give!" the Yuanshi Tianzun stepped forward.

"I give the Demi-God, Ten peaches of immortality" the Chinese god stated.

Peaches of immortality were very precious, that could grant mortals a huge lifespan of ten-thousand years.

Soon the Gods were giving gifts one by one, it became a competition for them to see who can gift Gilgamesh with most precious treasures.

As the chaos subsided with Gods finishing giving their gifts, God-father Buri quickly realized something was wrong.

He came towards the Gilgamesh sleeping on his cradle, and touched his head.

Suddenly as if shocked, he stepped back.

"All-Father! What happened?" a Norse God asked him, even the other Gods shifted their focus to him.

"H-He has the Divine Protection of Golden Rule!" his words made the entire place silent before a laughter rang out.

"It is just a divine protection, what are you acting so surprised for?" Uranus said, showing off his low intelligence.

"It isn't any Divine Protection! But the highest level of Divine Protection!" said Buri, the Norse God-King.

His words instantly made everyone silent.

There was only one being who could grant the highest form of Divine Protection in the entire Universe, Supreme Divinity himself.

"That's not the end! He has several unknown Divine Protections!" Buri revealed the truth, instantly shocking every Gods.

Seeing this was the right moment, God Brahma made his entry.

"Lord Brahma!" Indra quickly gave a bow on seeing the God of Creation.

"This child is destined for Greatness; he possesses the Divine Protections of the Golden Ruler and King" the god revealed.

However Brahma had a troubled expression on his face, Vishnu had just revealed to him that the Supreme Divinity, has created a being to restrain all the Gods.

To show that the Gods cannot defy the natural order, the Mesopotamian Pantheon is going to be the first target for the Anti-Divinity.

Brahma hesitated to wonder if he should tell it to Anu, who was his nephew.

But in the end, he decided not to, nothing will come good out of obstructing Supreme Divinity's plan.

While the Mesoptomian Gods were in glee seeing their newest addition being so rich and powerful, blessed by the God-Above-the-Gods himself.

They didn't knew that the gears of fate had started running, soon the Epic of Man and Divine will be written.

To be continued...
