The group saluted Light as he and Jack, followed by Light, came up to the rest of the group and Charles and his soldiers who were on guard duty.
"Charles, I want you to tighten the guard, something is wrong, I'm sure Jack can feel it too. Red sun...something is wrong," Light suddenly said.
Even if Charles and the fifty or so soldiers around him were surprised by his warning, the order still had to be carried out.
They knew that Light had never been wrong so far, that's why, as fast as possible, the combat equipment was checked, and the watch times were changed and updated.
Light didn't know what was wrong, but all he knew was that they had to be ready.
When he had telephoned Newtown, he had told Leonard and Kyle to check the electric fences and the other special situation areas, they had to be ready for anything.
There was no fog in the air, it was snowing, but the red sun itself was still visible, though it was an incredibly weak light.
