The Sooner-The Better

Chapter 122:

Diane walked out of the hotel with a smirk playing at her lips, her heels clicked loudly against the polished marble floor.

Hook, line, and sinker. Isla had taken the bait, and now all that was left was execution.

As she stepped outside, the cool evening air hit her skin, but she barely felt it.

Her mind was already running through the steps of the plan. Gabriel was leaning against the car, watching her carefully.

"Well?" he asked.

Diane exhaled, sliding into the passenger seat as Gabriel got in beside her. "She wants to betray her father."

Gabriel smirked. "Shocking."

Diane shot him a knowing look. "She thinks she's playing us, but she has no idea that we're about to bury her."

Gabriel started the car, pulling out onto the main road. "Alright, walk me through it."

Diane crossed her legs, her fingers tracing absentmindedly over the leather seat.
