CHAPTER 7: INVASION GETTING CLOSER
"It's alright Sarah, you heard the boy, it's all fine don't worry about him I didn't make you look bad in his eyes, I just told him the truth" Skull said while walking up to Sarah,
"It didn't have to be like this Skull, you could have walked up to me and told me first" Sarah replied him.
"Oh come on Sarah, we both know that you wouldn't have let me do so, you still hate me as much as you did before, I mean what would I have said to you anyways?" Skull then asked,
"just forget it Skull, so what, now that he knows he's the chosen one, what's next he's not ready Skull and it's not like the world is in any kind of trouble right now that you had to break the news to him like this" Sarah said almost fuming.
Skull then laughed a bit a gesture which clearly showed he was mocking what Sarah just said,
"is that what you really think Sarah, cause if it is honesty I don't blame you for thinking so" he then said, Sarah then looked at him confused, she didn't understand what he meant by that
"I don't understand, what exactly do you mean by that?" she then asked him.
"The world or the earth rather is actually in danger, in danger of demons again Sarah, and I don't blame you for not knowing you know why, you're no longer part of the Union" Skull replied,
"and how exactly do you know all these?" Sarah asked him,
"come on Sarah, don't act as if you don't know how this all works Sarah, we have sorcerers remember, they have visions and that's how I know, now it doesn't matter if Rick knows he has powers or not or if he's ready or not but he has to be ready before that demon invasion happens and you know this.
"So how do you plan on making this all work out?" Sarah asked,
"we're already starting to get there, right Rick?" Skull said while turning to look at Rick,
"yes, yes we are" Rick answered while looking at his mum,
"so how far have you gone?" Sarah asked,
"well at least now I can move as fast as a vampire, I have the strength as well" Rick replied,
"and he hasn't gone rampage yet?" Sarah asked as she then turned her face and faced Skull.
"That's why he's the Chosen one Sarah, things are much easier for him than other vampires, I mean he lived without even knowing his true nature for 17 years, that's pretty incredible" Skull said,
"what about feeding, has he fed yet?" Sarah asked him,
"he's been missing for only a day Sarah and his powers only revealed a few hours ago so he hasn't fed yet, but it's actually fascinating how everything is just easier for him, I guess that's a cheat code for the special one isn't it" Skull then replied her.
Sarah then nodded her head in agreement with Skull,
"Okay then, come on let's go home Rick" she then said,
"Oh no hold on there, he can't just go home yet" Skull then said.
"What the hell do you mean by that?" Sarah angrily asked,
"I got nothing against you Sarah, but he needs to train, just for a while and then he can go home" Skull replied,
Sarah then turned to look at Rick who then nodded his head in agreement Skull, Sarah then put on a pitiful smile on her face while she turned again to look at Skull before facing Rick again.
"Don't worry mum it's fine, I'll be alright" Rick said,
"I know you will, take care" Sarah said to him, she then turned around after staring at Skull for a while,
"Jane come on let's go" she then said and then started walking away, Jane on the other hand was having a staring contest with Skull, Skull was smiling while looking at her and she didn't like it but she couldn't help but stare back,
"hey Rick, I'll see you when you get back then" she then said,
"sure thing" Rick replied her, she then hurriedly left and followed right behind Sarah as the look Skull gave her was freaking her out.
"Skull" a voice said out of nowhere, both Skull and Rick turned around to see who it was,
"Alex" Skull said while trying to take a closer look to see who it was, and it was actually Alex and the others (Walt, Megan and Abiola),
"hey Skull, long time no see huh" Alex said,
"yeah kid, where the hell have you guys been?" Skull asked,
"we had a little of complications, and who the hell is the new kid?" Alex then asked,
"Rick, my name's Rick" Rick replied while looking at Megan who was also staring at him while smiling.
"So he's a new Vampire or what?" Alex asked Skull,
"Well yes you can say that, but he's also a werewolf" Skull replied,
"what do you mean?" Alex asked looking a bit confused but it wasn't only him the rest of them except Rick looked at eachother in confusion because they could not understand one being, being both a vampire and a werewolf at the same time.
"To cut things short he's a hybrid you idiots" Skull said,
"but how is that possible?, the last hybrid there was was ages ago" Walt then asked,
"he's the chosen one, I thought I told you about that, he's expected to save the world from chaos and the last hybrid that also existed did the same" Skull then replied him,
"Oh, right" Walt said while scratching his head.
"Anyways, what are the little complications you were talking about?" Skull asked them,
"we had to fight off some demons in the woods, they caused a lot of damage, I thought the demon invasion was going to take a little while longer" Alex said,
"well from the look of things its happening sooner than expected, and that's why we all have to be ready especially you Rick. Alex, you're taking him with you guys, he'll join you in all your training sessions and possibly missions, for now just take him with you guys, I have to get back to work" Skull said and he then hurriedly dashed out and left all of them there.
