CHAPTER 10: TRAINING GROUND I

"Hey hey hey guys, that's enough for now okay come on" Megan then said while looking at Alex and Walt as they were still in the heat of the moment. After she stood there for a while and watched as the matter didn't seem to be getting any better, she then walked in between Walt and Alex using both her hands to push both of them farther away from each other,

"were you guys even listening to me at all huh?" Megan asked with an angry look on her face,

"yes we were Megan, and if I recall clearly, nobody really asked for your help out here, stay out of this Megan" Alex said.

Walt then shifted his head to the side as he used his hand to clean off his nose,

"look Alex it's no big deal okay, we shouldn't be fighting over this minor issue, I mean we've been through worst before right?" Alex said,

"well you started it" Alex said on top of his voice as usual,

"oh come on give me a break, you know just as well as I do that you started this whole thing, I mean you've been mocking at the kid ever since you met him, but you know what, it's actually fine Alex and like I said this is no big deal, so can we just act like actual grown-ups here and forget about this whole thing, we have important training to do here, and just like Rick said, he's the one who needs this the most" Walt said as he then walked away from there pissed off, Megan did the same, but she gave Alex an awkward glance before doing so, this left Alex bending his head down and no one could tell if it was because of shame.

By the time Alex got his head back up, he noticed that everyone was looking at him, he then shook his head and then put on a smile on his face for reasons no one understood,

"so, what are you guys waiting for, let's get this training started with please" Alex said as he then watched all of them walk closer to the training ground which was a huge empty field which barely even had grass, it looked more like a battle ground.

Alex grabbed Rick by the hand while he was also walking towards there,

"hey man, I'm really so sorry about earlier, today in general I mean, I know that we haven't really gotten off on the right foot and I'm so sorry about that, I know very well that I'm a jerk" Alex said,

"nah it's okay, man all is forgiven, now can we just focus on this training, because from the look of things, I have a lot to learn" Rick said as he then walked away from there to join the others while he left Alex standing there alone.

Alex then finally walked up to the rest of them while they were getting ready,

"okay guys, ladies first I presume!" Alex said,

"yep, as usual" Abiola said as she then moved further onto the training ground,

"it doesn't always have to be ladies first you know" Megan said as she also followed right behind Abiola,

"yeah I know, but we have to leave the best for last right!" Walt said in a loud tone just so she could hear him,

"shut up" she then said, Alex then also walked closer to the training ground,

"okay you guys ready?" he asked from a distance, it looked like he was going to be the referee for this one,

"better than ever" Megan said while Abiola stood there quietly with her feet rooted to the floor but the expression on her face showed that she was ready for this one,

"okay, 3, 2,1 go!" Alex then said out loud to signal them that they could now start fighting.

Abiola then stood there and watched carefully waiting for Megan to attack first, but then after waiting for quite a while and saw that Megan wouldn't come at her, her impatient spirit wouldn't let her stay idle like that and so she then jumped up high in the air fully prepared to launch an attack on Megan, she jumped five times as high as any regular human being would.

Megan now looked fully prepared for Abiola's attack and the moment Abiola was about to land on her with a fully forced spinning kick, she was able to move out of the way and dodge the attack while Abiola landed perfectly with both of her feet on the floor while she was still standing.

But then the moment she landed Megan quickly charged at her full force looking to land a heavy punch on her but Abiola dodged the attack, but as soon as she was coming back to her regular position another punch quickly followed and then this time she held Megan's hand, Megan tried to throw another punch at her but to no avail as once again she held her other hand, Megan then looked Abiola in the eye in what seemed to be disbelief, but before she could even think of something Abiola kicked her hard on the belly and this sent her flying off high up in the as she then fell and landed more than ten feet away from where she was kicked which was where Abiola was standing.

"Damn" Rick said as he watched in shocked, "and you guys said she's human, how does she survive that?" he continued,

"oh don't worry about her, she'll be fine" Walt said,

"are you sure? Cause I don't think a human fighting a werewolf is a fair enough fight to be honest" Rick said,

"and like we said before, she is no regular human okay, and besides this isn't the first time this is happening" Walt replied,

"hold on, so you mean she goes through this during every other training session as well?" Rick asked curiously,

"yup, pretty much" Walt replied,

"has she ever even managed to beat Abiola before?" Rick asked once more,

"yeah, maybe a couple of times I think, but she never found it easy even when she did, sometimes you might even say that Abiola just let her beat her" Walt said,

"well she's getting up now" Rick said as he then paused and watched get back up on her feet,

"whatever happens, I'm rooting for her" he then concluded

"well then lets see how that goes for you" Walt said.

After Megan was now up on her feet, she then raised her head up to look at Abiola, she had an even more serious look on her face this time around than the last time while she also cleaned off the dust that was on her body.
