Chapter 18: Cancer matchmaking

"Everyone hates me," I yelled, sat down, and wiped my tears.

I took a berry, gauged everyone’s reaction and ate it. "These are really nice, you should try some," I said and offered Lin Fei a blueberry. He looked at me and then at my parents. "Your daughter is crazy," he said frantically.

"You dare insult the heir of the Lin family's wealth?” I asked him. He looked at me, shock evident in his eyes. He blinked and he looked at me like I had insulted him. He turned to my parents and shook his head, he was probably disappointed. I can't blame him, I would be disappointed too.

"I am calling off this wedding, I can't marry someone who is crazy," he said and stood up abruptly.
