Worse (Miette)

It was midday and we all sat together. A funeral was going to be held for Kevin. Sasha didn’t care about her mother but Reo made sure that she was buried respectfully.

I can understand why Reo did it but this distance between us is killing me.

I do not want to understand anything, I want to have transparent communication with him.

Sasha was still heartbroken from the broken promise and it’s understandable. Reo broke a promise so big that she lost the most important person to her.

My mind was getting preoccupied and I was losing my sight. Reo, Echirou, Yuki, Sasha… I wonder where I was…

When we returned to the base I heard a screaming sound from one of the rooms there. I opened the door to check but Reo stopped me.

“That bitch and her dad are in there… let them be if their-”

I didn’t think much and wrapped my arms around him. His body felt cold and so was mine. I waited for his hands to wrap me in it, which happened after he sighed.
