The guests laugh at us. They call our couple all sort of names. "The prince charming and the pancakes' eater Kelly" is one I can sadly remember."

Just two hours ago, I was a prisoner in my ex-husband’s castle, but thank the Moon goddess, I managed to escape. I’d always known that the royal palace had hidden passages from my time as Jason's wife, so I was lucky enough to find the exit from my "cell" right away. 


The secret passage led me beyond the castle walls, but I know I’m still not really safe. My body, just starting to heal, aches from exhaustion, yet I keep going, desperate to put as much distance as possible between myself and the palace. 


As I navigate through the tricky terrain of the South pack’s forest, my heart pounds, matching the excited barking of dogs in the distance. They’re hot on my trail, using their relentless German shepherds to hunt me down. I need to mask my scent, and fast.
