The grievances

KELLY THOMPSON'S POV

In the wake of our latest battle, a mix of exhaustion and determination enveloped the camp. As the sun rose, casting a soft light over our warriors, I could see the toll the fight had taken on everyone. Wounded warriors were being tended to, and the atmosphere was heavy with the weight of our recent struggles.

I called for a meeting to address our next steps. As our warriors gathered, I felt a surge of pride in their resilience. “We’ve faced the darkness time and again, and we’ve emerged victorious,” I began, my voice steady. “But we cannot underestimate the Black Faes. They will return, and we must be ready.”

Eden stood beside me, his youthful enthusiasm shining through even amidst the gravity of our situation. “We should fortify our defenses and increase our training sessions,” he suggested, earning nods of agreement from the crowd. “We need to be stronger than ever.”
