Chapter 17- Ansh trail

Getting God's power is not that easy, every step he takes is to take revenge on you, telling you that you can't do it, and you should accept it, but little does he know that the people he is testing are not ordinary people.

God's tests get even tougher, pushing each of Shiva's companions to their absolute limits, making their success seem nearly impossible.

Ansh's Trial: The Infinite Lake

Ansh sinks deeper, drowning in the shadows of darkness, feeling that he is leaving him, then he feels it and removes his hand from his throat, then he realizes that he can breathe in the water. He feels peace, but this peace soon turns to panic as he cannot move freely, what am I supposed to do? The pressure of the water surrounds him, and then a holy voice echoes in his mind—

"Only the worthy can collect water and become the divine heir."

The challenge seems impossible. He has to collect the countless pools spread across this water world, but they are spread for miles, deep and dark. What's worse is that his powers have been severely limited. Every time he tries to lift water, it feels like he is lifting the weight of the entire ocean—unimaginably heavy. His body starts shuddering, and the water pulls him under. Every time he is close to succeeding, the water swallows him up again and pushes him towards unconsciousness.

As he starts sinking into the darkness, he starts seeing terrifying flashes of failure, knowing that if he makes even one mistake, he could be trapped here forever. As he continues to sink into the endless water, a faint ray of hope appears in his mind. A soft but stern voice prompts him—

"Imagination is the key."

Ansh's heart starts beating faster. The thought flashes through his mind like lightning—

Not only will his power save him, but his imagination can free him from this.

The water that had felt pressurized and drowning him till now was now reacting to his thoughts, when he felt he was suffocating, he was suddenly able to breathe, he calms down and sits with both legs folded, thinking about the various ways his powers had transformed into a defensive shield to protect him and his friends when they were in danger, since then Ansh was known for his defense, from the water slide to many other things, he remembers them, he stands up after contemplating for a while and takes a deep breath while looking up at a weight, trying to overcome his fear. He makes the water lighter in his imagination, controllable. Slowly, the infinite weight of the water starts to diminish. He closes his eyes and sees the ponds becoming one—a vast, unified body of water, flowing according to his will. The water starts swirling around him, and for the first time, Ansh feels a slight control over the water.

But as he opens his eyes, doubts take over his mind. He is short on imagination. He has always relied on his rational thinking and strength, so he struggles to maintain this new perspective. The water starts to part again, and slips from his hands.

No, he thinks. I can do this.

But his mental exhaustion is setting in. His imagination starts to weaken. The tremendous force of the water returns and grips him again. His limbs become heavy, his breathing slows.

At the last moment, he imagines himself floating, trying to lift the water above him. But the effort becomes too much. His consciousness starts to fade, and eventually, everything goes black. The last thought that echoes in his mind—

"Imagination was the key, but I could not master it enough." your thought
