The Ascension Cycle is the name of the power system that governs the progression of various races, including humans. 

They first receive a "Seed" that enables them to summon an "Interface," a guide that facilitates their understanding of their power. The Interface also grants access to "Quests," which players could fulfill in order to help their progress and evolve.

There are four main tiers of progression, each representing different parties. These parties were Demonic Opposition, Demonic Forces, Cosmic Entities, and Underworld Dwellers, with each of them is hostile to the other.

Here is the Four Primary Tiers of Progression in Vyrholm Realm:

A. Demonic Opposition: Catalysts of Change

The Demonic Opposition are individuals or beings working within the mortal or primal realms. Members of this tier include be human, elf, dwarf, and some other races, each marked by a "Seed" that governs their strength and impact upon their world.

C. Cosmic Entities: Pillars of Reality

Cosmic Entities ascend based on their alignment and dominion over universal principles, embodying the forces and laws of the multiverse.

D. Underworld Dwellers: Keepers of Decay

Underworld beings ascend by sinking deeper into the mortality representing stagnation, inevitability, and finality.
