Chapter 48 - Dullhound
Sam, Alexa, Fiona, and the others desired to remain inside the cave until they received the Green signal from the examination committee.
Unfortunately, not everything went as planned. For one day, nothing happened, and everything remained inside the cave.
The next day, however, something unexpected occurred, forcing them to flee the cave.
A group of strange Monsters appeared outside the cave and immediately began attacking them. Those strange monsters were not like ordinary monsters.
Those monsters look like headless Dogs. However, they are still able to see. Aside from that, rope-like objects protruded from their entire body. They are red in color.
Naturally, those are the Monsters' body parts, which they use to destroy the cave.
Alexa and the others were unaware of the Monsters, but Sam recognised them right away.
Those monsters are known as the Dullhound. As you can see, they lack a head but have eyes in their bodies. The important thing is that these monsters contain demonic energy.
Normally, you would be unable to locate those Monsters, but as the demonic energy spreads throughout that area of the danger zone, those Monsters begin to appear.
The good news was that Sam and everyone were able to defeat those monsters. The bad news was that the Cave they were previously using had already been destroyed by the Monsters.

"Did you notice that, aside from those strange Monsters, we found no other Monsters? More importantly, it should have been daytime, but I did not see the sun.
What the hell is going on in the danger zone? What are those things attempting to kill us?"
Alexa exhaled deeply after she finished speaking. It is natural for anyone to become concerned when something unexpected like this occurs to them.
