Chapter 50 - Blinding Light

The entire danger zone is being covered in mist. This is not a normal situation. The mist is full of demonic energy.

When the surrounding area came into contact with the mist, a mutation occurred there. Even the monsters are being affected by the demonic energy.

If you are wondering where the people from the examination committee and the warrior Association are, they are busy dealing with the unknown monsters that have appeared in that location.

Alexa and the others were unaware that one side of the danger zone had been completely destroyed.

A battlefield appeared in that location. Fortunately, members of the examination committee and the Warrior Association had already evacuated all of the students from that location.

Even the monsters they are fighting are not the same as the Dullhounds. The Monsters they are fighting are humanoid, with two heads and six hands.

Those monsters are 6 feet tall and black in colour. They have the appearance of an Orc monster, but they are not Orcs.

There is a significant difference because they have a third eye. More importantly, those Monsters can wield demonic power. Instead of calling them Monsters, you can refer to them as Demonic Minions.

A large number of Minions appeared in that location one after the other. These Dullhounds can be seen all around them. As a result, the members of the examination committee became preoccupied with dealing with the minions and dullhounds.

The situation of those Initial Mortal Grade warriors is currently critical. Many have already sustained serious injuries.

Fortunately, none of them have died thus far. However, they have already lost the will to fight back. Importantly, no one knows how long they will be able to survive in that situation.

But do not think that the Beginner Mortal Grade warriors are in better shape. They are occasionally attacked by the Dullhounds.

Fortunately, all of the students agreed to work together. This is not the time to compete against one another. Instead, they should consider how to get away from that place.

They received no response from the examination committee or the Warriors Association. So, in this situation, they had to rely on themselves to get out of there.

As they collaborate, the students' chances of survival improve. This is why, as of now, none of those students have died.

However, students begin to be affected by the demonic energy that spreads throughout that part of the danger zone.

When they came into contact with demonic energy, they felt weaker. Every student can tell that the consumption rate of spiritual energy has increased.

Aside from that, many of them were mentally affected when they came into contact with the demonic energy. The students' situation became increasingly dangerous.

A group of 50 students is looking for a good place to hide. Unfortunately, they did not even make much progress when they met a group of Dullhounds.

In the next second, the group of students fights the Dullhounds.

Some important characters from the story can be found among the students, including James Charles, Jenny Ortho, Elena Hance, and many others.

If Sam were here, he would be shocked because he never expected James and the others to work together in such a way.

More importantly, David should be present among them. Unfortunately, David is accompanying Sam and his group.

Now James and the others are fighting those Monsters with everything they have. They are also exhausted because their spiritual energy is quickly depleted.

Unfortunately, they can not do anything about it, so they must fight the Monsters.

They eventually killed the Dullhounds. However, many of the students were severely injured. The situation leaves James and the others feeling helpless. Nobody knows what to do in this situation.

"Sigh, our survival rate appears to be steadily declining. I am not sure if you would be able to get assistance from the Warriors Association or the Examination Committee. Even I began to lose my faith and willpower."

Elena said this after taking a deep breath. Everyone, including her, is in the same situation. 

Naturally, they have faith in the exam committee and the warrior association. But the circumstances cause them to lose faith. They began to wonder whether they would survive or not.

"However, now is not the time to lose faith in the Warrior Association. It is possible that they have already begun to deal with the mastermind.

So we need to hold on in any condition until we hear from the examination committee and the warrior Association."

Jenny stated that Elena. It appears that after hearing her, many of those people regained their senses and the will to fight back.

Elena, James, and the rest of the group get up from the ground. They, too, are energized after hearing Jenny.

"But the question is: what should we do? Even if we try to remain in a safe location, we will be attacked by those strange Monsters."

James said this as he took a deep breath. This is not the first time he and his group have looked for a place to hide. Until now, Dullhounds had attacked all of those hiding places.

This is why they are unsure whether they will survive.

"I believe we..."

Elena was about to say something, but she was unable to finish her sentence. Something happened when everyone started glowing brightly and then vanished in an instant.

But it is not just Jenny and the others; all of the participants present throughout the danger zone are in the same situation. They all began to glow brightly, and then vanished in an instant.

Why does a situation like this suddenly arise? What exactly happened to them? Did they receive assistance from the Warrior Association?

Nobody knows what the answer is. Many of those people panic when they start to glow brightly. In the next second, they were all teleported from their previous location.

Everyone was dazzled by the sudden bright light. Fortunately, one minute later, everyone's eye pain began to subside.

Their eyes have already adjusted to the blinding light. Finally, they get to open their eyes and observe their surroundings.
