Chapter 61 - Return to the Danger Zone

The next day, 

The entire Venus City is crowded with people. Almost everyone is outside the examination center. They are all cheering for the students who are inside the exam center.

The special second stage of the entrance examination will resume today. Once again, all students will be teleported into the border city.

The warrior Association has already set up a teleportation platform inside the examination center, from which all students will be teleported into the border City.

Those people are present to assist all students. The previous incident undoubtedly had an impact on many of those students.

That may have had an effect on their willpower. Even students who did not lose their fighting spirit were affected.

So the examination committee and the Warrior Association worked together to organize it. At the very least, this way they will be able to motivate every student.

All of the students have already entered the examination hall. The good news is that those students who had previously lost their ability to fight back are still present in that area.

Sam, David, Alexa, Fiona, and several other students are waiting for Saint Markus to appear. Saint Markus has another identity. He leads the examination committee.

Naturally, before those students could enter the danger zone, he wanted to give his speech, assuring them that they would not face a situation like this again.

"Good morning, all of my students. I am pleased that all of you are present and prepared to enter the danger zone.

Naturally, you are all aware of the dangers of the danger zone because you have already experienced them.

To be honest, the deeper you get into the danger zone, the more situations like this will arise.

Even in the absence of an outside influence, situations like this can arise at any time within the danger zone.

So this lesson is extremely beneficial to each and every one of you. I am confident that this will also benefit your growth.

The reason I wanted to give my speech is to reassure everyone of you. Many of you have yet to overcome your fear of that incident.

I am not blaming you all, but in order to become a good Warrior, you must overcome your fear.

By the way, I wanted to let you all know that we checked the part of the danger zone that was chosen for the entrance examination several times. After the previous incident, we did not take any chances.

We wanted to make sure that everyone understood that there is no danger other than those Monsters. Nobody, including the most powerful Monsters, would be capable of doing something like this.

We have already built a defensive barrier around that part of the danger zone. If a powerful Monster approached, it would be unable to enter that portion of the danger zone.

Aside from that, I would be present inside the danger zone. It is to ensure that none of you are put in the same situation as before."

The announcement is enough to startle every student in the examination center.

Everyone is aware that the Warrior Association has already taken steps to avoid a repeat of the previous situation; they never expected Saint Markus to remain in the danger zone.

This information is sufficient to reassure each student that everything will be fine. They would not encounter a similar situation inside the danger zone.

Only Sam is unsurprised by the situation. He has already predicted it. The same thing happened in the main story.

The good news was that this time, no dangerous situation would arise within the danger zone. Every student can concentrate solely on their hunting.

'Hmm, I need to kill as many monsters as possible. Even if I do not make the top five, I should be able to stay in the top 10. This should help me get into those top Academies.'

The admissions requirements for those top Academies are extremely stringent. Fortunately, Sam is confident enough to attend the Golden Dawn Academy.

Even the story's protagonist will be attending this Academy. He would not have the opportunity to attend the Royal Academy or The White Tiger Academy.

Despite receiving first place in the entrance examination, he was unable to meet the requirements necessary to join those Academies.

Even though both Academies later regretted their decision, David has already joined Golden Dawn Academy.

Despite his high potential, Sam lacks the confidence required to join White Tiger Academy or Royal Academy.

'I am just curious to see how many people will be influenced by David to join the Golden Dawn Academy. There is a chance Alexa and Fiona did not attend the Golden Dawn Academy.

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about this for the time being. For the time being, all I can do is improve my ranking.'

Finally, all of the students who had appeared in the examination center began to approach the teleportation platform one by one.

Those individuals are teleported into the border City by the Warrior Association.

At the moment, every student is thinking about something different. But one thing is clear: they all want to return to the danger zone.

Many of them are still fearful of the danger zone. However, because Saint Markus is present in the danger zone, those people have regained the will to return to it.

After a while,

Finally, Sam joined Alexa, Fiona, and their teammates. Saint Markus appeared in front of them and wished them good luck.

Sam, Alexa, and the others salute Saint Markus to demonstrate their respect. With this, they were all teleported away from that location and transported to the border city.

After entering the border city, the students move slowly toward the entrance to the danger zone.

As expected, the location is completely guarded by Warriors from the Warrior Association. Aside from them, no outsiders are present in that area.

Sam, too, eventually returns to the danger zone. Alexa, Fiona, and their teammates extended another invitation to Sam.

Unfortunately, he turned down their invitation and left the area.
