Chapter 5

"That suits you better you look more smarter when you are wet, Selena said with a vicious smile curling about her lips as she played lightly with the plastic disposable cup in her hand.

I was so surprised, not that I didn't know it was her who dumped water on me but because this is a library and I don't know how she was able to get in without being discovered holding a cup of water in her hands, because the rules of the library included no taking of any liquid substance to the library, and of all places to bully me, she decided that it was going to be the library it was in the library, smart move though because she knew I couldn't retaliate, unless if the Liberian got to hear our hubbub she would kick both of us out.

I just looked at her with an unreadable expression, I expected her to come after me though so I wasn't surprised at all, and I was situated at the back of the library, so it could be quite hard to notice us due to the fact some book shelves were blocking our path, but any noise could alert the Liberian and she could kick us out, and I really needed to study, so I just didn't bother.

"Little smarty pants figured it out again, am so impressed", she said in a whisper clapping her arms lightly as if she were a kid I knew she was referring to her and Jake and I didn't care any less about it.

"When you are done with your trash talk could you please get lost", I said with a chilly expression, letting her know that what she was doing had no effect on me, though my hair and face were wet, I was lucky not to get water on the book in front of me, and besides I could just go dry my hair in the wash room.

I had way bigger problems than to be thinking about someone who doesn't care about me

She seemed annoyed by what I said, and tried to cover it with a smile then whispererd.

"I just wanted to tell you that am so excited about the chess competition" she said a small smile playing at the corners of her lips.

"Yeah me too", I said confidently with a smug smile, and just turned back to my book to study, I knew what she was getting to but I didn't mind.

~lucy pov~

I have been looking all around the school for Sasha since I finished my classes, but I couldn't find her I was in deep thought thinking about where she could be, when I remembered that she loves reading in the library when she has nothing to do, so I went there only to find her there reading her books quietly in the corner isolated from people, I marched up to her then crossed my arms in front of her like I was upset despite the fact that people were watching us.

"Oh hey, Lucy!", She said surprised that I came here.

"So this is where you have been sall day?, I have been looking everywhere for you, And I even tried calling your cell phone but no response, I asked quiet oblivious to the answer.

"Um yeah, am so sorry, all our phones are switch off and with the librarian", she said and I could see she was genuinely sorry.

"It's ok love,but please can you make it snappy, so we don't miss the ice cream truck on the way home", I said to make her hurry, cause i knew she loved Ice cream, and I have some thing to tell you", I said giving her a bit of curiosity so she would pack her stuff quickly and follow me home.

"Ok bestie I would soon be done", she said as she began to pack her things in haste I just chuckled to myself she would never change.

Sasha pov

I was busy reading a book when Lucy came in looking upset, I was surprised because Lucy didn't like coming to the library, and I was thankful I was fast enough to have dried my hair in time because if she found out Selena was picking on me hell would let loose here.

Then she asked where I had been since that is when I remembered that we agreed to go home together, and it was almost closing time, omg I forgot I was so focused on what I was reading that forgot, and a lot of people have departed the library so I apologized, and luckily she wasn't mad so we left soon enough on the way we got some ice cream, and then I asked her what she wanted to tell me when we got back to the car and she said something that made me choke.

" Your brother!!",I exclaimed in shock.
